    That is the proper way to collect Macross! Except you need to apply the same logic to purchasing Valks. Rinse and repeat.

    Finally spent a little time checking this thing out and I can agree that it is the best VF-1 to date and prbably just edged out the Arcadi VF-0S as the best Valk made to date, imo.

    Cool, so it will probably make it to production? They still haven’t responded to my request to change to one of the newer color schemes so I hope they don’t send me the wrong one.

    Yeah, I think Arcadia usually uses the same images for promos and they are usually stickered. The only time they show tampoed is when they are specifically pointing out the difference.

    Yep! I’m definitely glad Arcadia is still in the game and hopefully they can keep some form of competition alive so we all get better toys for less. I’m waiting for more Max Valks from them...1As, 1S, Virgin Road.

    I really wish more magnetic gimmicks were used on toys...It took until the recent DC Mazinger for them to finally use a magnet for the pilder but then they didn't do the same for the Metal Build Mazinger.

    Someone added magnets to theirs and there is a video posted somewhere in this thread. It was cool.

    Welcome to the club. Macross toy collecting is the most satisfying toy collecting I do. All the pieces are uniquely charming. If you never had one or don’t currently, I recommend you also acquire a 1/55 VF-1. Any release or variation will do, you just need to experience that toy and always have one on hand.

    It’s definitely great to see @Kuma Style into Valks and being blessed with his pictures here.

    Just opened my DX VF-1J No time to mess with it but spot checked and looks all good to me. No cracks, nosecone, wing and leg flaps all tight (Leg flaps move easily but not floppy at all). I think the only thing left to check is the waist connection and wing folding evenly. I'm not worried about it and all looks good to me. Lovely Valk!

    Haha, I don’t see what the problem is? They seem to pack very securely with a generous amount of bubble wrap.
