Does anyone have pics of the Blue eva 00 and 02? Cant find any

hm I did a search for Revoltech and turned up nothing, sorry.

Any fans of articulation will get a kick out of this. Kaiyodo is coming out with a new line of figures featuring a very cool ratcheting joint system they're calling "Revoltech" The lineup so far is pretty diverse, and is going to include the Evangelion serise. Anyone who knows me knows i LOVE well articulated figures so this is pretty damn exciting for me. A quick google search can find lots of info on this line. I'M EXCITED! I'm not sure what the total lineup is, Dante, 2 or 3 Evas, Getter, Dougram for sure. Looks like MAYBE an optimus prime as well.. anyway, here are the images i picked up:

Pillows-hatin' bastards! FLCL should have easily cracked the top 10. 400942[/snapback] Pillows are way overrated. Saw them in concert and they were nice and generic. 400955[/snapback] could be true, butyou gotta admit their music added alot to the atmosphere of the show and was almost a character in of itself. (this makes the soundtrack very well done)

they didn't include inuyasha or flcl. this list is a hack. :-) sdfmacross or robotech might have had somewhat memorable songs, but i don't think either belong in the top ten honestly. mac plus was well done but very techno, so it's sort of limited in it's apeal. i think macplus rated respectably how robotech got so high is beyond me.

I think the way guld went out is more of a cultrual thing though, story wise. In japan, dieing for a missdeed to rectify it is sort of glorified i think (more in theory than practice these days probably) Guld actually DIEING i think means more in japan than it does in the US. In japan i think dieing for atonement is the ultimate sacrafice.. where as here in the US i think dieing to say "sorry" is sometimes seen as a cop-out, or getting off easy. It's a diffrence in our perception of saving face and honor. It's romantisised in MacPlus obviously, you can't run around killing yourself just because you wronged your friends, so they set up the story to make him have to CHOOSE between killing himself to save them or giving up and no redeeming himself. In Japanise culture they are more likely to think "he redeemed himself" i think the formal verbal appologie is seen as weak compaired to physical pennance. Where as the US might think "He got off easy" because we have a tendancy to think that dealing with each others feelings is harder than punishing ourselves. You always have to think about subtle diffrences in culture when disecting this stuff, I don't think in japan they'd feel sorry for guld at all. In fact in they might actually be impressed, maybe envyous of his bravery and such. course i might be way way off. :-)

I think the REAL question here is: Does UNSpacey use the same glass for their figher pilots face visors that max does for his glasses? The implications are staggering.

Then that logic extends to Stig and Yellow in Mospeada... all the humans have regular hair colors except for the aliens, Stig and Yellow. Blue in anime is simply "alternate black", it's just another way of having a unique character without giving him yet another head of black hair. If Max dies his hair then I guess he also dies his eyebrows because they are blue as well. He must also specifically request blue tinted corrective lenses for his glasses as well because they are also blue... which is quite stupid because that would make him virtually colorblind to certain colors. Not to mention a fighter pilot wearing glasses while flying a supersonic plane in combat! Folks need to face it here, Max... has... blue... hair. It was a whim of the artists. Not every darn thing in an anime needs to be explained to death and analyzed. We don't need to know why the pilot's hair is long or blue or swirled into curly q's... it just is. It's to achieve a visual look and style to the show, nothing more. If the show was animated like real life then all the japanese characters whould have brown or black hair and all the military characters would have their hair high and tight... you'd never tell anyone apart. 397135[/snapback] yup couldn't have said it better.

Personally i think UNSpacy has more to worry about than their pilots fashion sence.
