    I saw a clip of Hayate piloting one, so we may get one, and as bandai have the moulds it may be early in the cycle of delta toys. However it will come with a kid with no helmet or flight suit for a pilot....

    The plan (as it stands) is to get two copies, put the strike packs on my yamato DYRL Max and Roy. Modify the pilot on one and use spare hands to do a TV Roy then turn the other one into either a Mac the 1st VF-1J or Mac the Ride VF-1X++ using Kurisama's shapeways heads

    I am intending to try this with a 1/48th scale kit, i have one on the way for a fraction of the price of a Megahouse Orguss. I am hoping it will scale nicely with a 1/60 valkyrie. I will share some pictures once i make some progress.

    On the VF-1 front i am sure i saw a picture on the macross world facebook page of them using VF1 as trainers in Delta. That may muddy any licence issues for the VF-1 likeness. Saturation wise, yes Yamato over saturated the market, Arcadia hasn't and people are observing that there is room for VF-1 releases with only 1 in the last 12 months and nothing on the horizon. Personally I want Max and Kaki tv 1A reissues along with the usual list of rare valks

    Thanks for the kind words everyone, yes very satisfying, such a nice pair of valks. To answer the questions, yes ebay, I managed to snag the second through a deal when i couldn't bid on it. Noel, Euros not dollars, that means they were even better priced. Edit: spanner, i forgot to attach a picture of my M&M shrine

    Thanks guys, i licked out on mine, same guy was selling both so i didn't have to chase either of them. Reasonable was 450 including shipping from France to UK for the pair. Less each than a new arcadia VF-0 or VF-4. I will be setting up my M&M shrine later, both VF-1J and both VF-22S. I need a Virgin Road next but don't anticipate finding one at an affordable price any time soon.

    So glad i was working from home today as these arrived. Super excited to play with them, i did not think i would ever find them at a reasonable price. Yamato v2 M&M!!!!! My inner and outer geek really likes that the picture on the boxes lines up for the batroid in the middle.

    I just started re-watching sdf:macross. I am two episodes in. Now i really want a VF-1D, come on arcadia!

    From the spreadsheet on anymoon.com, its a 2.0 safe. That means it will have fine shoulders, it will have the rainbiw tinted canopy (i like it, can have quality control concerns) It will have the original crotch locking mechanism which is more difficult until you master it. I have three vf-1 which have the combination above, i have no issues transforming them. I do not however have that exact valkyrie.

    A collector through ebay. The guy was selling Max and Milia v2 vf-1j's for a very reasonable price so i was very pleased, fills a gsp in my collection which i didn't expect to fill.

    I still haven't had the letter. I NEVER got the letter for my last valkyrie. I lost faith that it would ever arrive and went to their office. They took my money and gave me a shiny box of toys in exchange. My next valkyries are coming from france so no import charges :-)

    Even if the price is crazy i would be all over a VE-1 reissue. Despite already having one in my collection.

    Nothing from NY yet, although they said 24th as release date. Can't wait for this to arrive!

    NY just sent me an updated release date of 24 February. Now I am excited, I have been looking forward to this valkyrie since the rerelease was announced.

    The little piece looks like a stand adaptor to me. Bodily it will come with a stand, maybe landing gear as well.
