meanwhile... MarkH's DX YF-21 part-02 (Battroid ⇒ Gerwalk ⇒ Fighter):
-

Are they somehow affiliated with BlueFin or BandaiNamco-US to be even referring you to that form??? Your item was severely damaged inside the box. They either need to replace your item themselves or refund you your purchase cost, instead of giving you that runaround with a non-applicable form.
-
Honestly, I think your vendor should replace the whole thing since you clearly have a very very damaged item still in box. But, nevertheless, Good luck!!! edit: fwiw, I see two seemingly separate damaged/broken parts on your toy (arm-wing/stabilizer and what looks like the damper panel sliding part) --- As an aside and maybe minor regarding the Bandai-Namco return/replacement form: I haven't checked my DX YF-21 box, but I'm not sure there is any Bluefin related sticker(s) on it since it's an import...

Wing angle spot-shots makes it looks like missiles still installed backwards. Nevertheless, hopefully they have fixed their instruction manual regarding proper non-Robotech missile-placements...

I say again... If you are affected by the Bent Head-Laser issue and you're not in Japan, copy and attach the twtter-link and snapshot below when communicating via email with HLJ or whichever Japanese import-shop you acquired your DX YF-21 from. This is in case you get the standard and stupid "damage falls within quality variation" lame excuse being used by Bandai to reply to HLJ when inquiring support for the bent head-laser for their overseas purchasers. Here's the original japanese-tweet link and tweet-snapshot about Bandai support sending out replacement for bent head-lasers of their DX YF-21: https://x.com/MAXX_2nd/status/1810847457611559270 Good luck!
-
So what Bandai's damage falls within range quality variation excuse actually means is that they will really only send replacements to japan-based purchasers of their DX YF-21 with bent head-lasers... https://x.com/MAXX_2nd/status/1810847457611559270 web-translated: edit: I highly suggest forwarding the twitter-link and/or screenshot of the original japanese-tweet to HLJ and other import-shops to give them more ammo to try to force Bandai to send out replacement head-lasers to you guys with the issue.

somehow you forgot to post the link to it: https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2342409001003

Bandai messes up that cover design. Byman never had nor used missile-tubes either in ROA or TLRS. He prefers solid shooter bazooka. Never seen any TC nor regular 'Dog fielding both at the same time, either. Frickin' Bandai asymmetry shenanigans...

Just try it. Maybe Kiki can help if Future/Pledge are not able to.

Meanwhile... I might be the first to have just lost one of the tiny unnecessarily and mind-boggingly insecure removable pieces on the DX YF-21. Thanks and F-U for another "genius" design/engineering decision, bandai... Hopefully I find it later on after more extensive searching...

Yeah. Total BS by Bandai. They most likely just don't want to deal and support overseas purchasers even if you have to send the whole item back thru HLJ. Hopefully HLJ has offered some other recourse, like return-for-refund.

couple of interesting pics from the twitterverse... https://x.com/Kabuto_siren/status/1809493233111822694 web-translated: https://x.com/shitopiccyan/status/1809904492424667498 rescaled sample:

You're quite brave to do such a straightening on a rather delicate and thin plastic. I would've just sent it back for a replacement or a refund. Still, try to contact your vendor and see if Bandai can provide support and/or a free replacmeent fin/antennae at least.

Nice! Would've been a bit nicer if you had instead used the more recent non-PF reissue with the 40th-Anniversary logo to comment if it did improved the loose ankles and wings of the original release.

err., you just paste the youtube-link/url and the forum will auto-embed it unless you select the display-as-link option as shown below: --- meanwhile, https://x.com/Ezwea1/status/1809747342435971161 web-translated: click on this twitter-link for full-scale of his pics...
