But with Shin's history I think he will become arrogant and let the killing of Freedom and the rewards for it go to his head. I believe his large ego will be his one true downfall as a character.
Seems like everybody is saying Shin needs to die at the end of the series, but personally I feel that Neo/Mwu needs to die. He "died" at the end of Seed, but with his "revival" and his actions afterwards I feel that the only way that Fuduka will have him be redemed is through his true death. Either that or he's going to become the Char of CE.
Nah, killing Neo/Mwu again would be too much of a repeat. I say give him a gundam, and let him own somebody. Just let him live on as an outcast like Zechs in GW.

I saw the movie in IMAX, it was awesome. The only thing I didnt like was the mask and those damn triangles holding the cape. Other than that it was groovy.

FUNNEL FIGHT!
Looks like Strike Freedom's wings actually ARE Dragoons?!?
From Gunota
Regarding Strike Freedom's weaponry...Plamoya-san's Useless Diary lists additional armaments taken from the 1/144 Collection Series Strike Freedom description:
EQFU-3X Super DRAGOON mobile weapon wings
MA08V Beam Assault Cannon x 1
Note: The model number given for the DRAGOON is similar to the Chaos Gundam's EQFU-5X mobile weapon pods.
Those things are funnels? How would they propel themselves? Their shape doesn't really lend to their mobility.

Wow, good tactics by Shinn, he really put his all into the fight. Kira, where's the passion man? But, it's nice that they set it up the way they did, Shinn gets a win, and Kira only half-loses.
BTW, what exactly can stop Athrun from leaving? I mean, don't FAITH members get to do anything they want? Besides that, he could just make some excuse up like, "um, I'm gonna step out for a bit, I'm gonna take this shuttle" and nobody on the ship but Talia can question that. Instead, he's probably going to make this big dramatic scene like, "f*ck this sh*t, I'm leaving, and I'm gonna come back and kill all you m*therf*ckers!"

Is there a difference between the Dagger and Guaiz figures coming out, and the ones already released?
-
After watching ep 33, and nothing happening,
Uh, were you completely not paying attention or something?
That was probably one of the more important and eventful episodes theres been in some time, unless you consider "nothing happening" to be "no action".
Ya, it is a big episode for the story, and yet unsatisfying none the less. I guess I expected this turn of the tide moment to happen a little earlier.
But what's up with these new spoilers? The earlier ones mention Freedom getting trashed, but these don't even mention it.
-
After watching ep 33, and nothing happening, I'm wondering if they're gonna finish this series decently. The pacing is killing me, action one episode, filler the next. Don't they know they're running out of episodes? When I think about it, I usually watch a series when it's complete, not week by week. So maybe that's the reason it seems slow to me.

Tamashii has updated the msia section with Strike Freedom and Guaiz. Funny, because these come out in July, where Destiny comes out this month and hasn't even been posted there yet.

After watching the episode, I think it's time for a new hierarchy of pilot skills. This is based on the last time we see these pilots fighting in their most recent MS:
Kira = Stella (they couldn't beat each other, while Stella was not messed up)
Shinn > Stella (when Stella was not messed up)
3xMurasame pilot > Sting
Sting = Athrun
Kira > Athrun
Kira > however many number of Murasame pilots they throw at him
Cagalli still useless, she launched several times, and as far as I can tell has done nothing
So, new hierarchy:
Shinn > Kira/Stella > 3xMursame pilots > Sting/Athrun > Cagalli
Oh I didn't forget one last important pilot/group, it's called EA. EA is represented mainly by Neo and his merry band of Windams.
Let's see, Neo is in charge, he sees Stella can't touch Freedom, but he sees Freedom's mothership in firing range. This is the place where the Freedom's pilot get his food and water, not to mention a comfortable bed and a hot spring. So instead of depriving him of the one thing that has sustained him, Neo continues to have Stella fire uselessly at Freedom. And of course, there is the band of Windams that basically sat back and did NOTHING.
So this act of stupidity leads to the ultimate insult: Cagalli > EA
From what I saw in this ep (and I saw it half heartily while watching tv at the same time), Kira was preoccupied a good part of the fight by Neo and Sting, plus he's got the whole disable, but not kill style. Shinn flew in without any distraction and went for the kill shot. You can argue that if Kira went with that strategy right away, he could of been just as successful as Shin.
Also, you can't really measure skills, because there's always descrepencies. Just look at how Yzak toasted the two druggies when both Athrun and Kira were having trouble with them.
I also think your ranking of Athrun is a little harsh. He's gonna be good again once he gets his head around. That harem of girls he's dragging around is wearing him out.

So what do the previews for ep. 33 show?
-
Couple of other things.
I-Justice's shield beam saber doubles as it's beam boomerang...
S-Freedom's dual beam rifiles are something of interest.
Here's Legend:
And finally, a little MSV for ya.
Also from Gunota:
Hobby Japan's spoilers for ep. 34 and 35 (title for ep 36) (Spoilers, highlight to read)
DESTINY spoilersEp34 - "Nightmare" - The world is shocked at Dullindal's statement. In the middle of the confusion, Archangel decides to return to Orb. However, Archangel is run down by ZAFT's forces. Minerva is also given order to attack Archangel.
Ep35 - "In the Light of Chaos" (*note* Hobby Japan has the title listed as "Ahead of Chaos")- Having lost Freedom, the badly damaged Archangel heads to Orb. Accompanying Dullindal, Meer goes to Earth. Minerva enters the port of Gibraltar and receives two new MS, Destiny and Legend.
Ep36 - Athrun Escapes
Another set of translations (They all sound roughly the same):
Phase 34
"Nightmare"
Dullindal moves everyone in PLANT with his speach, and seizes full control.
He orders the supression of the Archangel. Athrun is very shocked by this news.
Archangel was already in combat with another ZAFT unit when the Minerva appears. Talia, wanting to avoid battle, asks for their surrender.
Phase 35
"Chaos ahead"
Shinn finally takes down his greatest enemy.
As for Athrun, this is an impossible task to accomplish. Athrun, who is unable to hold back his emotions, beats up Shinn. But he is unable to answer Ray in the argument he is given, that Shinn was just carrying out his duty. Minerva arrives at Gibraltar. Dullindal who has descended to Earth, wishes to speak with both Athrun and Shinn, and has a gift for both of them.
Phase 36
"Athrun's escape"
Jibril's resposibility is questioned by Logos. In order to insure recovery, they move their forces to "the heavens base" of Iceland. ZAFT are preparing an attack of this base. At this time, Athrun becomes aware of the true intention of Dullindal.
He tries to escape, but many guns are aimed at him. During his escape, Athrun is rescued by an un-expected person.
Comments:
Ouch, Archangel gets a beating...meh nothing they can't handle. They've been is worsts spots. And it looks like Athrun is defecting....Finally, the boy comes to his senses. Unexpected person saves Athrun's ass...could it be our pink princess (I mean fake one)? IJ and SF are lookin like their coming from Lacus (the real one). And Dullindal is evil/Darth Sidious. One should never trust that Char-like voice.
Edit: more stuff. Beats making a new post.
Interesting, sounds like things are finally building up. I was getting tired of the pacing, where half of the episodes are wasted with meaningless chatter that doesn't advance the story.
Also, Freedom gets trashed does it? I wanna see that. I don't think it's Shinn alone that accomplishes this feat.

MSIA Strike Freedom Gundam :
I love gooooooooooooolllld. Nah I hate the gold, when I get mine all that gold shall become grey.

Looks great so far. I only have one minor complaint. Christian Bale's "Batman" voice is kinda weird. I guess I am just use to the Michael Keaton/Kevin Conroy(Animated Series) Batman voice.
Ya I was kinda thinking the same thing. Bale is a cool actor, but he's not really a convincing Batman. Plus, that ugly ass costume, and bright lighting doesn't help either. When he saves Katie Holmes, and when he's running through Arkham, it looks kinda ridiculous. What the hell happened to stealth?
-
Overall, I was satisfied. It was dark, with limited kiddy content. I also thought it was funny how they "filled" plot holes:
-Sidious's origins, and how his master was able to manipulate midiclorians and create life (does this imply that his master created Anakin?)
-Qui Gon learning how to become immortal (explaining why Obi and Yodi do the disappearing act). But where the hell is Qui Gon's ghost at the end of ep6? And why can Anakin do it?
On a side note, I liked how the movie picks up right where the clone wars cartoon ends. Great attention to detail, Grevious is even still messed up from Mace Windu hurting him at the end of the last ep.
-
So it's a Zaft MS afterall? Man, I was hoping the Blue Cosmos rumors would be true. And why does Destiny have a normal shield if it has beam shields? Overkill?
-
Hmm, perhaps Athrun will pilot Freedom when Kira gets strike freedom. Or maybe Talia gets shot up and he becomes the captain of Minerva? That would be pretty weird...I dunno, I'm wasted.
-
Hmmm, Shinn still hasn't turned the corner yet. What the hell is taking so long? It's gotta be soon though. However, it would be cool if he never changes and becomes the villain. I never disliked Shinn, but this episode kinda tilted the scale for me.

I'm looking for a quick fix to making my Yamato YF-21 FP look more blue than purple. I was thinking of spraying a coat of clear blue over it. Do you guys think that would work? Some suggestions would be nice. I just dont want to do another full blown repaint.

Boy, is the Knight Justice ever undergunned. Saviour has more firepower than it does!
If anything, it should've been this MS that got the chest cannon, not the Super Freedom.
I agree, chest cannon would of looked much better on Justice cus it seems to be lacking for a new model. Looks like Athrun got screwed, but at least he's getting all the ladies...

Ordered mine from HLJ on the 18th, and got shipping notice today. Three days isn't that bad. Now comes the two week shipping time. But I was surprised it even shipped because it was listed as backordered when I ordered it.
-
Ep 26 has the new ending from Rie Fu ("I wanna go to a place..."). There's a new MS in the pics...and it looks like Providence Mk II...
Oh, and the Eternal is coming back next week.
Hooray, a new Providence! But jeez, another Gundam made by Zaft? When's EA gonna crank out some new ones? Eternals back too, huh? I guess Lacus got sick of being just another bridge bunny, she's gotta have her own ship again.
-
Look what HLJ has for preorder :
BAN932966 Bandai MSIA Destiny Gundam June Release 1,520
BAN932967 Bandai MSIA Super Freedom Gundam July Release 1,520
BAN932968 Bandai MSIA Justice Gundam 2 Aug. Release 1,900
BAN932969 Bandai MSIA Windom Production Type Aug. Release 1,425
BAN932970 Bandai MSIA Mobile Suit GuAIZ July Release 1,425
Hmmm, have the prices gone up on MSIA? These are the early bird prices, and they're already more than the price of recent MSIA. Plus, Justice is more than all of them? Does that imply that it's gonna have a crazy amount of armaments?

The reason why I said Neo is Mwu and not a clone is because he has scars,, the one on the face,(mosty because of the blast I guess) and the one on this shoulder ( which was cause by Rau Le Creuset when they were at the artificial womb facility)
I guess it can still be someone else,, but all clues point to MWU right now.
I was about to mention those scars...too slow I guess. Nu-Freedom looks better animated I must say, but where the hell does he put the two rifles when he's using the beam sabers? maybe they fit between the slot of each wing?

Kira get owned? By Shin? I can't see that happening. Has Shin shown any ability that would indicate he could scratch Freedom? Man, that would just be weird after Kira owned everyone in ep. 23. I think a more likely situation would be Kira jumping in front of a blast to protect someone else, or Kira getting gang raped by everyone at the same time. Just my 2 cents.

Um, Strike Rouge? WTF? Kira could have at least went with Andy's Murasame, jeez.
