    What maddened me about the series was the collective dump they took on Max. They took away his feats in the series [His wins over Miriya, and their wedding and birth of Dana being the crucial turning point in the Humans, Zentraedi relationship] and gave them to Rick [because that frakker didn't have enough feats already they had to take Max's and give them to Rick] and then they made the few Max and Miriya interactions so hate filled that there's no way that they can possibly get together now without some serious personality alterations. The laughable part is that the writer expects us to believe that Max is one of his favorites [along with Miriya and Dana] I asked the writer why we should believe that Max is one of his favorites when Max has been crapped on the entire. Ofcourse the coward wouldn't answer.

    That is a major problem as well. Plus the writers and artists being a-holes to potential customers isn't helping.

    The Marvel movies have been a blessing and a curse. My old comic shop dealer said back when the Tobey McGuire Spider-Man and the original X-Men series was out that the general public is interested enough to watch these movies, but they're not leaving the theaters and going right to their nearest comic shop to pick books about the characters they just watched on the screen. Plus the workers at Marvel have gotten very arrogant and think because the movies make so much money that they now put whatever garbage they like with zero effort and be complete jackasses to people who complain.

    Its been bad for the last few years since Marvel and DC have been putting out crap [DC is putting out a Twilight style series with teenage Catwoman, Batman and Pre-Joker Jack Napier.     That's definitely the most likely thing. Titan has ghosted everybody who has asked about it. The only mention of Robotech on their website is the TPB for 1-4 of Remix and vol1 of Robotech Masters in Oct.

    Yep. It didn't come out this week. It was pulled from release to be re solicited at a later date. Some re-writes or re-draws or something happened. I was wondering how they crap on Max again this issue.

    Its sad that with the advancement of CGI and other special effects Hollywood would still find a way to screw up Macross/Robotech. I was on an anime board they asked about the possibility of a live action Black Lagoon movie and I said that Hollywood would find a way to screw it up.

    Thanks for that. I wouldn't be surprised if they restart the book again later on in the year with a new #1 and everything [since that's the comic book industry's main gimmick for reviving a floundering series. just restart it with a new #1] Robotech Re-Remix.

    Where are you seeing that? There's no sign of it on Titan's website and nothing on Comixology.

    If it was something like that I doubt they would even be able to solicit a TPB of the 4 issues they did release.

    Its definitely looks like they quietly cancelled it. Did they really think making Dana the main star would be a money maker? I think I also saw that they were coming out with TPB's for Eternity comics Robotech II: The Sentinels series

    Hard to tell how much of DYRL they're using since we never saw Rick or Max's VF-1Ss.

    Max should be in Skull One. Not Dana. I don't mind her appearing, but she shouldn't be such a focal point. Is it really ripping off when Harmony Gold owns the rights to those Macross seasons? If you want a rip off look at Voltron: From the ashes that rips off the premise of Power Rangers SPD. Honestly Harmony Gold has done such a terrible job at keeping it relevant and with Titan doing a terrible I wouldn't be too sad if Robotech went to bed for awhile or was sold off to someone competent.

    I'm sure some will browse it online for the morbid curiosity. Sales have not been good. And there's no word of it on their website or social media accounts. Just shilling TPBs of older RT series and Vol. 1 of Remix [they want to sell a TPB of a series with only 4 issues actually out. How dumb can they be?]

    Luckily its not THE Skull-One [as in the VF-1S] Her's is the VF-1R. Did Macross M3 even come out in the States? I'm at that point that I don't even think that they know who they're aiming this series at. If/when Titan loses the license I'm sure they'll shop it around to some other comic company [maybe Dynamite again since they were supposed to do a Robotech series after the Robotech/Voltron cross over Its like a massive trainwreck. You know you're not supposed to watch it yet you're still drawn to it like a moth to a flame. Plus there's also the morbid curiosity of "How will they frakk up the characters and lore this time?" element.

    They've really been crapping on Max from the get go. In his iconic dogfight with Miriya now Rick interferes and is the one to drive her away [because that borderline Mary-Sue didn't have enough feats already] they homage their knife fight later and Dana knocks out Miriya. Now Dana is piloting is Skull One instead of Max. And now Max and Miriya such disdain for each other that there is no way in hell they can ever get together and have it be believable. I always say to fans of Max and fans of the Max/Miriya marriage that this series is not for you and you should just wait it out until the license inevitably changes hands again. Now that its been over 2 months since 4 came out and there's no sign of 5 on their website either the series was cancelled or some major re writing is going on.

    Yes. I was surprised to see it too. The writers threw in all sorts of cameos [like Vehicle Voltron/Dairugger XV and Gladiator Voltron/Albegas] The premise was that the crew of the SDF-1 was thrown into the future and landed on Arus while Roy, Max and Ben were left stranded on Earth and helped the Lion Voltron crew. Since was Roy was missing the Gloval had appointed a new field Commander to replace Roy so a new VF-1S was commissioned in Kakizaki's Green DYRL colors.

    Ironically enough a VF-1S in Kakizaki's DYRL Green Color scheme made an appearance in the Robotech/Voltron mini series.

    Thanks guys. Is it just me or are Super parts for the 1/60 scale harder to find than the 1/48 scale?
