  1. i voted fot the 1/72 glaug, but i'd like the 1/72 regult too. (i just bought a 1/72 regult kit, but i'd buy a recast and start a small army ). I think a 1/72 q-rau would be cool too. i guess i'm just a zentraedi fan...
  2. Thanks! "Dekarucha" is what I was looking for. Nothing came up on my normal google searches. (And thanks for the extra Japanese phrases too. I wish I knew more Japanese. =P)
  3. Thanks ewilen. I don't know if it's masaka. Actually I looked through a script, and only zentraedi say it, so it's only in the zentraedi language. I think it's something like "kanja" or "ikanja" (or that's what it sounds like to me). There doesn't seem to be any exact japanese word or phrase in the japanese subtitling (...although my grasp of japanese is very basic). Maybe the translator just liked the word "unthinkable"?
  4. Anyone know how to say "Unthinkable" in japanese? They say it in Do You Remember Love a LOT, but I can't quite pick it up. I just think it's a funny phrase.
  5. mmm... monster... ::drools:: thanks for the pics, Vallkyrie. I'm still in for this model. Even if it takes another year to recast.
  6. Is this contest still going on? I might take a stab at it.
  7. Noel & Carl - thanks for the great pictures. I want that collection!! =P One last question: Does anyone have a measurement of how tall the battroid yf-19 is? I want to know if the Studio Halfeye will match my other 1/100 Bandai VF-19s.
  8. I've heard that you might be able to airbrush Tamiya paint out of the bottle. Even though I've also read posts that people thin their Tamiya paint too, ~25% thinner or so. BUT that's just what I read in forums, my airbrush is still in the mail somewhere. Lots of websites sell Tamiya paint, and brick and mortar hobby/craft stores too. edit: The Fine Scale Modeler forum has a lot of info on airbrushing. Check it out. http://www.finescale.com/fsm/community/for...asp?FORUM_ID=18 some Tamiya online store links www.hobbywarehouse.us www.best1hobby.com www.hobbyfan.com www.hobbylinc.com
  9. Hey, can I still order a monster? I PMed ChristopherB a couple days ago. Thanks
  10. Thanks guys. It looks like it's a first release from the rectangular sprues. Does anyone know if any parts changes were made between the first, second and third releases? I wonder how much would it cost to make molds and recasts? I don't want to mess up the original.
  11. I recently got my hands on a Studio Halfeye YF-19 model kit. I was wondering how you can tell if it is an original or a recast? Does anyone have pictures of the original packaging or uncut parts on their sprue? It seems to be an original box, but I'd like to be sure. Also, does anyone know if any re-casts of the SHE YF-19 were ever done? Thanks in advance.
  12. What does the Y stand for in the YF models? I understand that the VF is Variable Fighter. Y is used for the prototypes, but what exactally is YF an abbreviation for? (I searched google and the anime.com/macross pages already) Thanks.
