A.I. wasn't horrible, but the last 30 minutes ruined it. If they had cut off the last 30 minutes it would have been way better. When those aliens showed up... the audience in my theatre let out a collective groan. Thing will AI is that Kubrick worked on it for like 20 years, and Kubrick did amazing stuff. So I figure 1) Kubrick worked on it forever but never did it because it was a crappy idea or 2) Kubrick had it worked out well and Spielberg ruined it. Street Fighter was pretty bad, but probably not as bad as the upcoming sequel featuring Jean Claude "My career is over" Van-Damme and Dolph "I haven't made a decent movie... ever" Lundgren. Though ironically enough, Dolph Lundgren has a PhD and the IQ of a genius. Yet he can't pick a decent movie role for crap... William Gibson claimed he was incredibly smart and had a good sense of humor, and was a pretty fun guy to be aroudn when they were filming Johnny Mnenomic.

Nu-Gundam obviously didn't do all the work, if it did thats a ridiculously powered Mobile Suit. Power like that Lond Bell would have needed one MS. But... the whole ending of CCA is a debate for places other than here.

The Wonderswan is already dead, the production stopped on the systems over six months ago and the last few games are trickling out now. Actually, as I understand it, Bandia's still willing to make Swan Crystals for sale, they just only take large orders, like the kind a major retail store would place. Really? Thats cool, except I imagine there's enough units in the market right now. You can find one on eBay for like $50. Maybe I should upgrade my Color to a Crystal.

Since? Angsty, introspective characters were a staple of the genre long before Eva. In fact, the reason they're in Eva is exactly because they are a staple. Remember, Eva is as much a parody as it is anything else. Yeah, they were overdone in the mid 80's. Along with the main character's father/uncle designing/building his mecha. And mid-series upgrades.

Having either Agent's or Burn's logo available as an alternate skin would be very cool. I like the regular blue layout better than Shawn's custom one (it's too dark), but the blue is kind of boring without any mention to Macross.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure the US version doesn't have the Last mission from the International version. BTW, probably want to take those pics out of your sig before a Mod gets to it. Pics in sigs are a no-no.

Asimo... very cool. When my friend and i were in Japan, he visited a Honda dealership and got a Asimo shirt that he gave to me. Looks liek a very cool toy. Good find.

Well, yeah. In order to get the characters to do the things they do in a hentai doujinshi, usually some character changes are necessary. Look at yaoi, thats a huge part of anime fandom devoted to character's doing a 180. Or on second thought, don't look at yaoi.

I'm wondering if Nintendo did gain a majority of stock in Bandai, woudl they try to phase out Playstation development? The new Gundam and Super Robot Wars and all the other Bandai franchise games coming out on Nintendo systems would certainly help to sell more Gamecubes, but for a whiel at leats it would likely hurt sales. Kind of an interesting problem, assuming a takeover goes through.
