yeah. ive been ill the last week, havent slept much, and have a full day of work (although, from home) ahead of me tommorrow. Strongly considering just bailing out and skipping this preorder and if i dont get it, then i dont get it. Im not sure I want to play games with my health right now

i really just want to order from hlj - they seem to be the easiest to preorder from but they are the slowest to actually put their page up so I feel like i have to shotgun

ive never not gotten my preorders in before, but the most common problem you will see on preorder night are pages being slow to become "live" and once they do, being slow to respond either on add to cart or payment page due to the amount of nerds hitting it at once.

a world of caution about those HMR stands. They are basically just tamashii stages. After time, the tension the male adapters exert on the female couplings on the extension rod causes them to crack slightly, and the extension will become loose and you will have shelf dives.

has anyone else noticed that ebay prices on some birds are actually starting to come down? It's as if sellers finally realized (after nearly 2 years) that no one is biting on their ridiculous insane prices anymore. I've been seeing a lot of v2 1/60s for under 175 (some as low as 110) and I have seen mint sv-51s sell for less than 175 as well. Now if only I could find a yf-21 for less than 200 -

Curious - what do you use for lighting your shots? Ive been using a couple of tabletop light stands but they dont seem to be as even as your lighting. also wonder about that black background as well. everytime i use one it just looks awful -
my millia had the flap pop out, but it didn't break like that. it did take some finessing to get it back in involving a hobby knife propping the split in the hinge open.
