1/48 is too big and expensive for me, 1/60 will be fine. I don't care about part swapping or not, the important is that it is good looking in all 3 modes.

The VF-0S have still the incorrect head lasers from Hobby expo from what I see... they looks really ugly in Fighter mode so hopefully they will be fixed in the production version. Except the lasers it looks great in fighter mode with Roy's color

If the 1/100 VF-0s is a monstrosity what are the MPCs? The old design was nearly ugly but the the revisited design is nice, I like it very much part swapping or not so I vote for Atelear-sai.

I really doubt that the head lasers are fixed in this position, it will be too orrible and strange in fighter and Gerwalk mode, i'm nearly 100% sure that the head will be fine.

Uhm... the feets looks orrible in that ultra-wide position, there is a lot of empty space under the chest if the Yamato left the lerx in battroid mode it will be better, i swear they aren't so difficult to scratch build. The fake red "Intake" are ugly. However I like it. PS why raised landing gear hatchs on the leg?

Yes, it looks like the VF-0A, i swear that the yamato will release the zero-A, they have just to change the color scheme and the head. Man, i love that color scheme. Ehi Yamato, what about a reactive armour for this baby?
