1. do I swim around in your koolaid.. no I think not. Im asking a serious question here.. no jokes 337490 A serious question about a kids show with dudes in tights. 337563 HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!! 337634 a 20 plus Year Fan following must be doing something right Arsehat 337708 HAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!! I don't even know what this thread is about. I didn't even bother to read your first post, I just wanted to allow the collective membership to enjoy a little awesomeness from yours truly. 337716 the world does not revolve around you shite head 337952 I am the center of the Universe, come on, you know it. Contrary to popular belief, being this awesome is trying at times.
2. GO HORNETS!!
3. No they didn't, that itself is just fan fabrication/exaggeration. The entire "DYRL is a movie" nonsense was generated from one throw away line in the first episode of M7 that doesn't even reference DYRL. ... It's completely silly to suggest DYRL was made or even retconned into being in continuity given that Kawamori openly is not very interested in maintaining tight continuity. 2031 February Space War I made into a movie, "Do You Remember Love?" Premiere of this movie which portrays the Battle with Golg Boddole Zer and the love of Lynn Minmay. It becomes a big hit, and the Minmay boom rekindles. http://macross.anime.net/story/chronology/2013/index.html Silly or not, it actually WAS retconned into the official continuity. 337752 Yeah, like I said, 10 years later... And I am talkin REAL human time, not fantasy land fruit cake time.
4. That link is dead. Did anyone keep a copy of these PDFs? Thanks! H 337742 I may have em somewhere.
5. Yeah, the Elise is an awesome car. The combination of the reliable Toyota motor and performance just makes a lot of sense. I've been seeing a lot of them around lately, a house a block or two away from me has one parked in the dirveway all the time. From what I understood the Espirits were absolute garbage. That new design looks atrocious . 337704 From the old timer car guys I talk to, the Esprit was a total Ferrari killer 20 years ago. They just kept adding luxury features, increasing the weight of the car, and not updating the technology... Therefore it became a lame ass car. I mean it was just 20 year old technology. It would be like if Ferrari was still making the 308.

7. That's because that thing weighs about 2000 pounds. Compare that to a hefty 3415 pounds of the BMW M3, for example, and you can see how just 190 horsepower can let it run circles around the fastest supercars, literally. Can't say I like the styling though, but I do love those numbers. reddsuns: I think it's a matter of "look how much money I have invested in this car" kind of thing. Besides, their bling selection is rather limited to ugly, really ugly, and extremely ugly wheels. 337635 I currently have an M3 and last weekend I went and looked at the Lotus... The Lotus makes the M3 feel like tug boat.
8. Japan Equal to all of the above AND cheaper.
9. Doens't robotech have a website?

11. He's probably talking about this. 337532 Nah, I like the Elise. 27mpg, thats like a hybrid, but it does 0-60 in 4.7 and runs cones faster than ANY Ferrari. Just awesome.
12. I want the new Lotus.
13. HAHA, never thought of Burgandy, but every once in a while I see the "?" at the end and wonder, 'like so what the hell about it.'
14. Thanks for doing that EXO!
15. Who's getting uppity? A1's always like that. He just hates M7. Other than that, everyone's being calm and helpful. H 337389 My son (Hurin) is correct, I am never hostile here... The real problem is that I am awesome and often weaklings get bothered by this fact when they don't agree with me. Its kinda like how Erropeans loved the US back when we were the only country that could stand up to the USSR... but now that the threat is gone, all of a sudden our power is unfair. HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!
16. Wow, thats deep.
17. The subject of this thread makes it look like you want a date, and you don't care if its with a man or woman. Which is hot if you are a chick.
18. Apparently Londoners don't like him either: http://www.mi6.co.uk/news/index.php?itemid=2893
19. REALLY!?? I am kinda sick of retro. Funny thing about it, they go to update it and nobody cares. After all it is retro. Keep in mind, car companies don't want to sell you one car, they want to sell you cars for the rest of your life.
20. No, DYRL had the SDF-1, it was just a slightly different SDF than in the TV show. They are 2 completely separate stories.... I am sure some pussy will come into this thread and tell you that DYRL is part of M7 but that is BS... 10 years after DYRL came out they pimped its name in Macross7 as a pathetic attempt to breathe some life into the lamest show ever. In the SDFMacross timeline, the SDF was a Supervisional Army ship that crashed on Earth, in DYRL the SDF was a Meltohlauedy ship. Here is a picture pre-crash.
21. SPNeko, those images don't show up. As for the rest of you, I can't see how you like Connery, but not Lazenby, Lazenby was practically a clone of the guy. He even said in interviews that his goal was for people not to notice there was a change of actor. I think the other really good scripts were given to Dalton, unfortunately he wasn't good looking enough to really pull off the role.
22. Oh come on, Lazenby did just as good a job and that was his first movie ever. Most people thought he WAS Sean Connery. 336919 Lazenby is still my favorite Bond. That was truely the only Bond film with any grit and darkness like the Fleming novels, but keeping the requisite 60s charm that Connery started. What a tragic and gritty ending to On Her Majesty's Secret Service. No other Bond film is like that. It's was purely unique. Every other Bond film ends up with Bond and the girl in some wierd contraption or place, while M calls and accidentally stumbles into the awkward scene where Bond shuts him off and slips back under the covers with Bond babe. But OHMSS is completely different. I don't want to spoil if you haven't seen it. And Brosnan should've been Bond back in the 80s when he was first offered the part but had his contractual obligations to Remington Steele. And if you read the original novels, they are truely dark and nothing like the Bond we've seen in the past 30 years because they have tried to pander it to PG audiences. Casino Royale is said to reveal Fleming’s deep hatred of women and a twisted sado-masochistic sexuality. Bond toyed with the idea of marrying his fellow spy Vesper Lynd because, "the conquest of her body, because of the central privacy in her, would each time have the tang of rape". He also wants to rape her because his testicles get tortured in the story and he wants to prove desperately that he can still do it. But anyway, the new film has already lost some edge because apparentely, Bond is barred from smoking in it. 336944 Great post. Yeah if you read the books, they are nothing like the movies. When I watch Ronin and the Bourne Identity, I feel like I am reading a Bond book. Though I love all the movies, I think OHMSS was the only one that really captured what Bond was supposed to be, maybe From Russia with Love also.
23. Oh come on, Lazenby did just as good a job and that was his first movie ever. Most people thought he WAS Sean Connery.
24. Its a generational thing Dean, Macross is older than you, of course none of your friends are into it... My Grandfathers generation thinks I am nuts because I don't like John Wayne. It was just a different time.
25. I am undecided, I want to see more promotion from the studio before I form an opinion as far as the plot/movie goes... As for Craig, he looks a little too sissy for me, I would have prefered Jackman.
