This thread is going pretty well... I knew we could have a civil M7 thread. Funny thing though, a great many things I hated about it are listed in the favorite category for some people. One more thing I did like was the end credit song. That was the ONLY song in the series that I liked.

Some is for kids, some isn't, but its a generational thing... My Parents always thought videogames were a waste of time. They told me that when I grow up, I will think the same thing too, but now that I have grown up with video games, the videogame makers make videogames that still apeal to me, you know games with sex and killing. I feel that I will play video games till the day I die, because its tied to my generation and all furthur generations, not to any age group. Anime is the same thing.

Only positive comments about Macross7 in this thread!! Its not easy being me. Due to my unreal levels of awesomeness, when I give my opinion on a subject it has the tendancy of overpowering thousands of people, rendering their souls useless. As I have been freely bashing Macross7, I realize that I have really walked over some people, and that wasn't my intention. Therefore the following is a list of things that I liked about Macross 7. - The VF-11. Reminds me of the VF-1, but more agressive. - Flower girl. Not sure what she represented, but she reminded me of the people in SDFM for some reason. - Trash collection robot. It was just cool. - Learing more about the Protoculture/Supervision Army. - Tie ins from SDFM and DYRL. Like hearing Minmay's music. - Millia's character. I didn't like her as a character, but she took what we saw in SDFM on the repair factory to a new level. I now realize that she is a very different character than I thought 20 years ago. This fact makes SDFM and DYRL even better.

Hey Dean, I appologise for the guys on this forum.. Even though its obvious that you haven't read much of Macross World's threads on the subject, they are just being mean. One thing to remember about Macross World is that Agent ONE is the nice guy around here. I will always think Macross is lightyears better than Robotech for a whole host of reasons, but that doesn't mean that the sequel to Robotech won't be good. I am going to give the new show a chance before I place judgement.

I don't blame Roy for trying to muzzle me... I have not been so nice to most M7 fans, I will stop for a while.

While I do find that the soundforce valk designs a little... off, but I have yet to hear your thoughts on some of the other NON CLOWN FACED valks like the Diamond Force VF-19s, the stealth VF-17s, and of course the Full Armor VF-11C. Even you have to admit that the Full Armor VF-11C is a nice looking machine.
