  1. Here's hoping. I've been anticipating one since those prototype shots of BT-09 (Swindle) surfaced with an Autobot symbol clearly planted on the hood way back when. Not to mention the dead on accuracy of the head.
  2. There's some news stories up at TFW and Tformers pointing to a possible release of two new Binaltechs. BT-19 (Streak (BlueStreak), repainted Blue Subaru WRX sans Racing Decals) BT-20 (Meister (Movie Colors) repainted Silver MazdaSpeed RX-8 (Shockwave Body)) http://tformers.com/transformers-confirmed.../9080/news.html If true, i hope Takara has a proper Trailbreaker in the works.
  3. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5515 (Hasbro's Toy Fair Press Release) G.I. JOE vs. COBRA Comic 2-Packs (Approximate retail price $9.99; Ages 5 & up; Available: Now, with additional waves throughout the year) One of the most popular comics of the 1980s returns to the toy aisle with brand new stories written by G.I. JOE legend Larry Hama. Each G.I. JOE vs. COBRA comic 2-packs comes with a full-sized comic, along with two 3-3/4-inch figures designed to look just like their comic iterations. Twelve unique packs -- each containing two figures -- will arrive at stores throughout 2008. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5543 (Contributing Thread) Here's hoping for more waves, def. want to see some EELs esp., but i can't say for certain with the kind of information the press release points to.
  4. Really as a comic pack or as something else? I thought Hasbro was going to discontinue the comic packs (at least for the time being) after wave 4?
  5. WOW! That's quite a piece of work... he also has way too much time on his hands. I wonder what gave him the inclination to build the Grevious Command Ship? Uniqueness maybe (ie: not another Death Star and/or Star Destroyer)?
  6. I've played all of a dozen games over the past 10 years or so that i've been in and out of the hobby and although i've had some fun times in those games, for me it's just too expensive and too time consuming to get a good army together and to be able to paint them worth a damn. I must admit though, that i'm addicted to the fluff too. There are just so many stories to be read about you'll never fully know everything, no matter how much time you have. Really well done in this regard. On a side note beyond the TT game i'm a huge fan of the Dawn of War PC game. That and it's subsequent expansions are some of the best RTS gaming ever made. Really a class act put together by Relic games. If you haven't tried/played them, you owe it to yourself to DL the demo. You won't be disappointed.
  7. NO! more variants. Argh. Why couldn't it be like a pink variant with polka dots... that would be alot easier to pass on.
  8. Yeah actually if i remember correctly in Predator: Bad Blood there was a rogue Predator who ended up on earth (yeah i know of all places) and was systematically killing ppl. with no provocation.
  9. My gamertag is most likely going to be SenorVandal. Although i've never jumped online with my own Xbox yet so here's hoping it's not taken heh.
  10. I honestly can't believe that thing is selling for so much now. When i worked at TRU back when this came out, we couldn't pay people to take these off the shelves. They ended up going on clearance for something ridiculous and only than did they get bought out. I really wish i'd have bought myself one now... or even a couple for that matter. I loved the movie, but i was really trying to cut down on my toy collecting at the time so this was an easy pass due to it's immense size. Now of course i regret it.
  11. Yeah it might come down to that. I actually picked up a Belkin USB Wireless Adapter not too long ago when they were on sale at Comp USA for around 60 bucks. I already had my Router hooked up so i figured i plug this in and it'll be a cinch to get on Xbox Live Wirelessly. Well come to find out when i try to plug the adapter in the back of the Xbox it won't fit. The Outer shell of the USB Adapter was too large to make it past the Console Casing. The only way to make it work was either shave down the Adapter Shell or grind out some extra space on the Console Casing. Needless to say that was a return.
  12. I'm all up for it, just gotta get my 360 Wireless... as soon as i can scrape together 100 Clams for the adapter.
  13. Well i guess this one's going to be missing that PG-13 rating by just a smidge. Other than being set on Earth, this ones alot more similar to the events of the first AvP comic. Aliens and Predators crash land on planet and battle it out amongst each other, humans get in the way, body count rises... hilarity ensues.
  14. Multiplayer Details: http://kotaku.com/gaming/higher-and-higher...ails-293192.php "AC6 has four online modes. Battle Royale is a straight up dogfight for up to 16 players, with Team Battle letting those 16 split into two teams to test out their tactics. Siege Battle is a 4 on 4 fight where teams take turns defending land, sea, and air based targets from attack. Finally Co-op battle lets a team of 4 take on AI controlled opponents, perfect for practicing team tactics."
  15. Maybe a plot device by the Joker? Or even the Batman?
  16. Empire. They're not evil... just misunderstood. The Death Star was actually supposed to be a giant planet rebuilding laser. It would fire a beam at cluster of Asteroids and wham, new planet. The first tests were unsuccessful however. But is that a crime?
  17. I'll be the first to state the obvious fact that Megan Fox is a hottie. But purchasing her used underwear?
  18. Absolutely awesome work. That is one of the cleanest paint jobs i've seen on a custom. The dark paint scheme really gives the 19 a lot more menacing look.
  19. Noice! Thanks for the link. Here's the pics of the Valks... with the Hikaru VF-1A! and although i'm not too familiar with the source, those cardboard robots look awesome.
  20. Yes! Thanks for posting those up CF18. I think i'll be picking them all up at one point or another save for maybe the Gaiking. As for the VF-1S, i'm hoping that the final product is not that out of proportion. It could just be the angle that the photo was taken in or even that the figure was a test-shot, so here's hoping.
  21. I think he means that since the New Movie Evas are actually larger (height and proportions) than the Original Revoltech Evas, the new "Mini" line is actually an effort to put these New Movie Eva Models in scale with their Original Revoltech Counterparts. Alot of people want some uniformity in the scales (myself included) so making the Minis makes sense as long as they're the same scale as the Revoltechs before them. Hope that helps.
  22. Heh, i don't know what to say. I actually really like it as well. Initially i thought it was the stupidest thing on TV when it was announced and the first episode left alot to be desired, but i've seen about 2 other episodes since and it's really grown on me. The animation is awesome if you know you're 8 Bit video game history and the episodes are odd, but not more so than say Aqua Teen or Sealab, so it's easy enough to get into if you can see past the animation.
  23. Hmm, not to mention this probably be in another sub-section altogether. http://macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showforum=13
  24. Hmm, the SDF doesn't look that bad... not perfect, but compared to the Valks it's a work of art.
  25. As much as i hate to admit it, I just know that one or more of the paint schemes is going to end up being a Friend-shop exclusive or some crap like that. It's just too easy not to do it. 3 VF-1S Paint Schemes, 3 VF-1J Paint Schemes, Countless 1A paint schemes. The question though... is which one will it be and how much is completing the set worth to someone.
