haha, I was only thinking about the car. Do you think daniels and stiller would have much chemistry? Their voices kind of register as a similar tone/pitch for me. I thought one of the nice things about the original series was that the hoff's voice and daniel's had a nice contrast in tone and pitch.

yup, we complain about toys and manufacturers, almost as much as we get lectured about complaining about toys. Seriously though. If you're a gundam fan or a TF fan, or whatever, you know that every month there will be a glut of new toys. There's always something out. And the prices are fairly reasonable. But here, we tend to focus on franchises that haven't gotten much of a push for the last 20 years. And the stuff that does come out, costs a fair deal more than the typical transformer or gundam... so we go into far more detail in our critiques and since we're paying a lot, we expect a lot. Frankly, I would be sad if MW goes the way of some other sites, where every POS toy release gets a ridiculous 9/10 or 10/10. "sure it doesn't look anything like it does in the show... sure it has no posability, sure the mold is actually a simple retool of a 5 year old sculpt, but this is ANOTHER 10/10 from hasbro/takara!"

it's a 5 gig install. 20 mins isn't too bad for an install of that size. I guess the BD drive was just too slow to stream off of. I do agree with you, and so does my wife, the UI for the PS3 just feels much more polished. My wife actually gets frustrated with the 360's UI.

the megahouse tachikoma is also a floppy mess that can barely support its own weight. I didn't pre-order because of how lacking I found it. People complain that they feel like they don't get what they paid for with Yamato all the time, and that's how I felt with megahouse.

lol, my wife watched 10 mins of the new show and then realized it was a terminator show... her reaction: "holy crap, they made a terminator show? I'm going to stab myself." she's not a fan. yeah, so for example, a 1080p picture has like 2 million pixels at any given time, but a frame of 35mm film has something like 20 million pixels (this is debatable because you're doing an analog to digital comparison) for a perfect shot and around 10 million for a "good" shot. That's still WAY more information than needed for "HD".

film is infinite resolution (well, for the purposes of this discussion, anyways)... the only question is the quality of the archived film and how much time and money the studios are willing to spend to restore and master them to digital.

yeah, the models are hideous. They all look like WWE wrestlers, even dhalism... he's supposed to be an aesthetic and yet he's all bulky. It's too bad, I do like the dynamic camera angles that the 3D models allow.

arm position is key in determining which pose it is. The Khan pose has the arms and fists up higher, towards the face. The position of the amrs demonstrates defiance and anger towards an adversary, fates or even god. The super man pose has the arms down, but slightly out from the side of the body inferring: even though I'm super strong, I'm so angry and taking off soooo fast, I can't raise my arms past the " I bought way too many groceries and can't lift my arms any higher" position.

you can't patent that pose, that's the Superman taking off when angry pose.
