    Damn. Whats up with AmiAmi. No warehouse feature, can't cancel items.. then they pack my DX13 in a box twice it's friggin size. Thanks for the extra shipping cost guys. I guess it's nice the shipper is in great shape.

    So they are letting the guy who designed some of the worst MP's take over for the guy who has designed some of the best? Seems legit. The biggest worry for me is that they will start cutting more corners and having hollow parts to save money. As the quality declines so will my interest.

    Just a heads up to all, the Takara Grimlock re-issue is kind of lame. The flame sword and crown are in separate boxes and may be split up by your retailer, or they might not get them? It depends on who you Po'd with. I'm a little bummed it's not a new release but just an add-on box similar to that lame Optimus prime 30th Anni stand. At any rate, if you don't have a takara version I guess it's a good way to go, otherwise there isn't anything special about it. I imagine the crown and sword will be sold separately by lots of outlets to squeeze some cash out of collectors, and they will probably be KO'd before long. I def. cancelled my PO as I already have a 1st run grimlock.     Thanks for the tips. I'm kind on the fence about selling it. I'll probably play with a bit. I like the pose I have it in now with the stand, but yeah. I guess I could prop it up but that's cheating haha.

    I don't get why people were upset at a cliff hanger. You know coming into it that it's a broken up part of a series. Are people that coddled that they have to have a neat ending not to freak out? haha. I was just glad to leave the theater

    If you're gonna get one, get the unknown soldier. Its the tightest of all the releases and the feet stay locked. Personally they just look too off for me. They remind me of 1/48s in battroid. I hope they are reworked.

    Just saw this today. The theater was actually packed. Anyway. 1. Not enough of Bilbo for me. The actor really kills it and they really didn't use him enough. I loved how he wanted to get crap done after all the crying and whining from LOTRs. 2. The Orcs were awesome. 3. Legolas looked bigger and more badass than he does in LOTRs, which was weird. He seemed a little OP too. Or rolled too many crits. 4. The love triangle was pretty well done, regardless if it was completely fabricated. It didn't annoy me but I wish they'd put more depth into Bilbo and Dwaves quest instead of making a love triangle to throw a bone to females. 5. Loved the Boffin going nuts in the barrel armor. 6. Smaug was fantastic. 7. It ran a little long, even for me... maybe it was just because the theater was packed and I was getting hot and annoyed. I look forward to a second viewing at home and it was a great film.

    Thinking about selling my Toynami MP Rand. I love the engineering and look of it... but it's not a very fun or practical piece otherwise. It's almost impossible to display without the giant stand, and any time you try to change the pose part of the armor pops out. I guess you can't expect much better, and I doubt anybody will come back to ride armor any time soon, but yeah... just feels like a nice statue other than a fun toy. I'm please that it seems to be selling for around $240 now on ebay though. That's about $80 bucks more than I paid a few months ago.

    Collect by what moves you visually, and what are you connected to as a person. That's what I try to collect. Certain asthetic looks appeal to me and others don't. I love real robots and very realistic mech, but I also think Gundam is really boring and visually uninteresting. But then you have to factor in the pieces overall enjoyability factor. Can you pick it up and pose it? is it a piece of junk and breaks after 2 weeks? Does it look good on your shelf with the rest of your stuff? The good news is, it's fairly easy to sell things in this hobby if you take care of them, and MOST things hold their value or go up. Start small, and start with something simple like an Arcadia Hikaru VF-1J. Handle it a few weeks before you buy more. Watch all the reviews you can watch too. Try to shy away from reviewers who don't present downsides or compare them to other releases, otherwise they are just glorified commercials. I also suggest you use a spreadsheet or something to keep up with your preorders if you start getting into the hobby. It makes it a lot easier to plan your shipping.
