The blog mentions that the kit is snap-fit (ie. no glue required).

It also mentioins that the cockpit can be fitted in from below after the fuselage completed. This makes it super easy for painting.

With the nose being one piece, it takes out an area that often requires seamline removal in aircraft models. And with the canopy having a separate frame piece, masking is no longer needed and makes things much easier.

This is kit is looking like something that's going to be a breeze to complete!

    Totally agree with you!

  2. If only in 1/48! Grrrrrr!. But thanks for the comments. Yeah I'd buy everything in 1/48. Its annoying Hasegawa drag their feet with the big kits but I think its a Japanese thing. The smaller the scale the more they get their jollies off on it. Plus its cheaper but hell 1/48 rocks!

    Agree

  3. It most certainly is off proportionally... To the point that I would say that the old 1/5000 ARII tv version is nicer than this! Funny, toy companies manage to get the look and proportions of the MacroSS very nicely while having to make it transform, whereas Hasegawa lawn-darts in its attempt to make the same design with a single mode.

You had one job, Hasegawa. ONE!!!

I think the legs are mayor problem
