I'm not real familiar with Max Factory... So what can be expected of these figures? Dicast & ABS?.... Articulated?.... Scale?.... Gimmiks & accessories? What has Max Factory's previous releases been like? Whatever the answers, it's still great to see Gasaraki TAs getting some love.

Oh baby... MG Gasaraki armors... That would be sooooo sweet. Never gunna happen, but while we're dreaming, I'd like to see some new Patlabor MG kits as well... like the ARL-99 Helldiver, and the AL-97S Hannibal. Hell even some of those construction labors would be cool.... Anything other than more Gundam.... Come on bandai, throw us a frick'n bone here.

I made sure all the numbering has some meaning. Problem is it's been a while, but if I recall I made it 197 for when MW first started, Jan. '97 hence 197. The squadron 1299 also has a meaning, but I can't remeber what ... I'm sure one of these days it will come back to me

Really!?!? Hmmm, Now that you mention it, I do seem to recall just doing a rough color of it, no decals or black and white details... But then again I did forget I did the FPs at all, so maybe I did more than just the color. It's all a blur... Last time I do color schemes all liquored up

Ya that's mine too... Back when I first came up with my MW scheme I was going to try it on all kinds of diffrent valks, but kinda got bored and never got past the VF2-SS, in fact I never really finish as it lacks decals and uber cool fastpacks. But I'm glad it's going to be put to good use... Can't wait to see your custom when it's done.

Now that we're down memory lane, I seem to recal someone doing a 1/60 VF-1, but for the life of me I can't remember who.... Anyway, I too would love to see someone do up a 1/48, but I ain't holding my breath.

Custom MW color scheme...... That really brings me back... I remeber for a while there Shawn was going to have a contest to decide the "official" MW color scheme and there was even hope that if enough people were interested there could have been a 1/60 MW custom from Yamato. Can't remeber what the minimum order was, but if I recall, it was quite a lot. Anyhoo, yes I was the one that came up with that blue and white MW scheme. I actually did it in an attempt to get people interested in the idea of the contest, but it never caught on, so by default my scheme has kind become the un-official MW scheme. Kinda cool some of the old-timers around here still remember it. I wish I could post it, but all my color scheme stuff is on my iMac which is clear across the country. One of these days I'll get it shipped out here and as soon as I fine someone to host them I'll get them posted again.

Haven't done the wish list in like forever.... Ok lets see.... My most anticipated of what.... Is supposed to come out: 1.) YF-19 w/ FP Has a good cance of coming out: 1.) 1/48 CF w/ TV FP (ok FP might be pushing it) 2.) 1/60 Millia TV Q-rua might come out: 1.) 1/60 destroids (I'll take all but the monster... Too big IMO) 2.) 1/60 Regults 3.) 1/48 GBP-1S armour 4.) 1/48 TV FP set Wish would come out, but not holding my breath: 1.) 1/48 any low vis/military scheme 2.) 1/? perfect trans Mac Zero valks 3.) 1/48 VF-5000B w/ FP 4.) 1/48 VF-1D w/ TV FP No chance, but would love to come out: 1.) 1/60 (or whatever the new FP Yf-19 is) complete redesign YF-21 w/ FP 2.) 1/60 (or whatever the new FP Yf-19 is) complete redesign VF-11B w/ FP 3.) 1/60 VF-1 based on 1/48 (to go with all the other 1/60 destroids, badguys, etc) That's all I can think of right now.

Agreed... Heck, I wouldn't care if they left the antenna and eye DYRL style (not that those would be a big deal to change) What I really would like to see in a TV Millia Q-Rau are nice painted on markings and not crappy stickers... A TV version of Millia would be nice too, but I could live without.

Am I the only one who thinks Yamato should just skip the DYRL CF Q-Rau and just go straight to a TV version (millia or CF)?.... Ever since I was a kid the Q-Rau has been my fav enemy, but the red, blue and purple just doesn't "do it" for me. I Hope bad sales of the DYRL versions (if that is the case) doesn't prevent Yamato from making TV versions, which I would like to think would sell better.... I really want a TV Millia Q-Rau!!!!

I'm a big fan of the 1/48, it's the only macross toy I own more than one of (other than my jetfire and reissue bandi 1/55 cannon fodder) anyway ever since I got my low vis, which as far as I'm concerned is the ultimate color scheme, I have had no desire to get any of the another 1/48s. Don't get me wrong I think they're great toys worth every penny, but the low vis just scratched my vf-1 itch. Having said that, the only varients that I would get are a cannon fodder and a VF-1D..... And of course any other low vis/military color schemes.

I'm not really a big scopedog fan. I do like the more realistic feel of them, but agree with Graham that the designs seem dated.... But I might pic up one just because I'm a fan of realistic military mecha, but price will be the deciding factor on that... So as you can guess, I'm totally up for some Gasaraki (the raiden armor is my all time fav mecha design) and military patlabor toys, or even some Bandai Master grades..... But a Yamato Gasaraki Raiden armor with all the bells and whistles would be heaven.

Jeez, I don't know??? Whenever the first Yamato YF-19 and 21 were going to come out. Just before the whole toycom crazyness... Back when there were VF-1 icons for post ranking.

You can add me to the D"StancE YF-21 recast list.... And if it ever happens I would like to make a suggestion (actually for any recast project).. Having done some custom parts of my own I know some resins can be tinted. I think it would be fabulous if these recasts could be done in thier base colors (ie blue for yf-21) so that paint chipping is less of an issue. Getting the tint just right could be a challange and may increase the overall price, but I for one would gladly pay it since paint chipping is one of the major drawbacks for resin kits (in my books).

Ya this last year was crazy, so there wasn't any time for MW. Don't get me wrong I was lurking but just couldn't find the energy to post. Even now with a new job and all, things are busy, but I hope to be posting more...
