OG DM founder Vince Clark is releasing a solo album. I keep forgetting he was part of DM, I always associate him with Erasure and Yaz.

Boy, I went to bed early, and figured I'd wait until the initial rush for the Concorde faded away. Checked this morning, and nope! Was able to log in, throw two in the cart, and check out with no issues. I think the past couple of orders I've made on LEGO.com have been much smoother than things went for a while, so maybe they've smoothed out their stock/supply/ordering process somehow.
Same experience here, scored a Concorde two Speed Champions kits for the kiddies hassle free. I'm looking forward to the Concorde, it looks to be a fun build.

Not my drawing, but I thought it was a nice tribute:

Oooh, I'm praying it doesn't become vaporware.
This figure looks waay too good for those 4 fighters to combine.

I was thinking about visiting the Armor Museum too, but my wife can only withstand one museum visit with me before becoming irate, confiscating my camera.
Seeing all these birds in person gave me a better perspective on their relative size, like how teeny a Harrier is, or how massive a P-38 can be. The B-52 memorial was somber, but was still quite a spectacle:

Yes, the Boeing droids occasionally still need assistance.
Their WWII warbird exhibit is just outstanding:
Seeing the P-38 was a pleasant surprise.

So it was my first time at Seattle's Museum of Flight. Truly an amazing place. I haven't even gone outside for the B-52.

I didn't know he was 70. RIP to an 80's icon.

I’m planning to buy an USC Super Star Destroyer (10221) from the aftermarket.
Since it will be a pricey purchase I wonder what my best option would be?
Bricklink prices seems to be in the medium range and I assume that the buyer feedback is a good indication of the sellers reputation given it is smaller and more focused marketplace.
On ebay the prices seem to be on the high side but it offers additional protection through ebay itself. However, I heard some reports that scammers found some ways around the buyer protection.
On other platforms like Craigslist prices seems to be the lowest but I assume that the chances are much higher being scammed than on the other two platforms.
Does anyone on this board has any recommendations or experiences using these platforms when buying high priced items?
I suggest that you steer clear of Craigslist. Just wipe it off your list of places of where to buy anything.

I was tricked. Flimflammed. Hoodwinked. Dare I say bamboozled.

It looks like it's actually gonna happen:

Aside from the Concorde, another rumored ICONS set to be released later this year is the ornithopter from DUNE.

Good effort, but the proportions of both those monstrocities are way off.

Billy and Jimmy look like the generic baddies in all of the Streets of Rage games.

If it was a larger, more huggable size, I'd be all over it. <Ahem> For my son, of course.
