  1. Nah... just one of the vernier/tei-downs. As for the Patlabor "5 Screws", I just have to get my ass down to the tat shop to get it done. But I'm lazy and poor right now.
  2. Nah. If I was going to get anything from Macross, it would be the Vernier/Tie-downs. But I like Patlabor more and I've always wanted to get the "5 Screw" logo from Patlabor.
  3. Good lord... my eyes! MY EYES!!!
  4. Ali Sama is correct about a starship being a ship for interstellar travel, but starfighter has no set definition and is therefore open to interpretation. I think for the sake of this discussion we should simply allow the sci-fi equivalents to modern day fighter craft.
  5. Oh... Oh... What about the Cylon base. That's cool!
  6. Actually, that's the only one I ever did. It was all done by hand and scanned in. Even when I was working on it I realised I didn't like how it looked, but I went ahead with how it was anyways. I think the only person who liked it (at the time) was DestroidsRage.
  7. Agreed. The concept of each piece is neat, but the drawings of the ladies kind of blow. The artist has major issues in that he ALWAYS wants to incorporate the ankles, even if he has to put it where the Achilles Tendon is...
  8. When I first started getting back into Macross in mid-2001 I fiddled around with a VD (hah) or Variable Destroid concept. I staretd with a Variable Spartan idea. Now that I look back, I'm not very happy with the aesthetic design, but I still think the concept is neat. Variable Destroids would be like the A-10's or helicopters of our time. Cheaper, less advanced, but highly mobile platforms.
  9. In keeping with graham's idea of seperating Hollywood from Anime, I'd have to say that one of my favorite Hollywood ones is the Drac fighter from Enemy Mine. For the limited amount of screen time it gets, it's still one of the best when it comes to bang for your buck. The ship just exudes cool. The design is very alien and is still rocks to this very day. Rock on, Jerry!
  10. I really like how the joints on that figure are done. They're very well concealed!!! I'm not much for poseable figures like this, but I might pick one up somply for it's great "engineering"... ahem.
  11. heh...
  12. shount the foreamrs be gold? wonderwoman had gold gauntlets Actually, that's a common mis-conception. Wonder Woman has silver gauntlets.
  13. I couldn't help myself...
  14. Ummm... APU. Look up. Taric specifically asked: So yes, he was asking for personal opinion. Get off of your high horse and pay attention before whining about someone's reply, geez!
  15. Just remember, mirrors show images in reverse.
  16. Now that's pretty funny. I don't know superheroes that well, but I'm guessing Ironman, Captain America and The Hulk?
  17. Legios- Sorry, you see it one way, I see it another. You have not nullified any rumor nor swayed opinion.
  18. A couple things, though: The right leg needs work. I've also noticed (and don't kill me for this) that your knees tend to be a little bulbous. Might be something to work on? Either or, it's nice to see some pencil art. We've all been slackin' on that lately...
  19. Ummm... because they are? The B-1 and the B-2 are based on an out-dated operational concept. The B-2 is one of the most wasteful programs ever and the B-1's only claim to fame is a cameo as the testbed for Crossbow-1 in the 80's classic Real Genius. I'm all for a strong military arm, don't get me wrong. But I think the benefits simply do not justify the insane costs of this pogram.
  20. Thanks, but it doesn't really help me. His guide is for PC and most of the programs he references are Windows only and I'm not knowledgable enough to know what Mac programs are equal or compatible.
  21. OK, here's a question: AVI to VCD or SVCD? I'm running a Mac and I'm looking for something for free.
  22. Good lord! Well, this is part of the issue. It's been said many times before that if the USA was a corporation, it'd be bankrupt in weeks.
  23. A- one-klump wasn't trolling. B- You have no way to back up your statement. Did you poll these insurgents to see who's Iraqi or not, or do you believe what Dubya's been saying? Truth is the only country saying that the insurgents aren't Iraqi is us. Just about every foreign news source states otherwise. Face it: The Iraqis are, and always have been, a very independent people. They are now chafing under foreign control. Part of the problem is that we are trying to impose a democracy in a region that traditionally conducts business along religious allegiances than a sense of goodwill for all of their fellow citizens.
  24. Dude, you know you want to go where everybody knows your name!!! Good job. No digitization at all on this one, eh? I like.
