  1. Man that's real loose. Am I right to assume that the tabs in the heatshield should be touching and locking the lower heatshield into place but its too short to do it ?
  2. I really doubt the heatshield can be left off in the 1/60 version so you'll be stuck with half a heatshield deployed if this is indeed a problem.
  3. Figma Drossel. http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10088995 That Disney robot girl thing
  4. Situation doesn't look good. Its a pretty bad deal breaker there.
  5. Lord of War Graham has become into Lord of Spyware.
  6. Initial impressions of people who've watched the Lagann Hen movie earlier last week in Japanese theatres were favourible. Apparently lots of bricks were shat and the epic final battle was epic x 100.
  7. My own fanfic.... Earthdash is another spiral world which is watched by Simon and his Guren Dan as it matures, where a new potential Spiral Nemesis might form from Dan.
  8. I'm pretty sure it has to do with some part of the heatshield not moulded correctly or something, like the shallow tabs?
  9. The doublenut has the stealth VF-1D as photos boggled me for awhile. XD
  10. The tabs on the upper shield seem to be shallow for the lower shield to grip on or vice versa, at least that's from what I can see in the pictures. Haven't got mine.
  11. BOO!
  12. Interesting articulation.....not liking the plasticky grey colour though. How's the size? And funny how in all the pose photos its holding the magazine of the gun.
  13. If anything they should be firmer and less saggy due to lower gravity....not affecting its size to bulbous proportions. But then again this is an anime where i'm willing to kick reason to the curb.
  14. What gave u the idea that it won't be including the stand that came with the 21? Was this announced somewhere?
  15. Yeah the small gun's a pity. Its strange that McF did not produce a 12" of this sculpt since they made Robocop, and Predator etc after all. Original retail price was a whopping $9.99 IIRC. That's the standard price for McF stuff are anyway.
  16. Ehh...no...it wasn't as awesome as Iceman's darkmatter balls so i didn't mention it. Some ppl read palms, Haruka reads feet.
  17. Yeah i was waiting for Umai. Man Haruka has a serious foot fetish. Nothing much happened this ep though...with Haruka walking to the 3 to get them to fight each other.
  18. But here's an interesting question to you Graham, considering Yamato has stayed away from the M7 series all this while because we were assuming Bandai always had the M7TV license....but now Yamato's going into M7D 1st. Is this because of the readily available mould of the YF-21 which needed minor retooling, or they only have clearance to make toys from M7D but not from M7TV? Just wondering if M7 M&M and VF-11Cs can be highly possible future releases? And can we finally get a VF-19 Kai and VF-17s???

  20. The best rendition of the T-800 is the mcfarlane one IMHO. The NECA's face is kinda goofy.
  21. We'll be having some kinda valk exibition there.....and i'm not sure what else to put up there. Maybe a laptop showing macross AMVs or something. Oh well if you're in the area do drop by. And no, I didn't come up with the names of the con NOR the name of the exibition. http://www.daiconnews.com/e_macross.php
  22. Did graham managed to talk to Kawamori and ask him to kick Yamato into shape or something?
  23. Plan your purchases. Get the handbook and see what convention limited stuff you'd wanna get and line up for them. And get in line early to enter Big Sight. I lined up over night (crazy, hot, smelly experience) and it wasn't pretty....if you're not as fanatical, try to get onto the 1st train in the morning. If you don't care about those limited ed stuff either, just screw it and come in the afternoon. At least there won't be a queue entering the venue. Wonfes is huge, when i went all 3 halls were open. The industry hall, the garage kit hall, and the seller's hall. You might find some bargains at the seller's hall. The garage kits hall is huge and will take half a day to look through if you like garage kits. The industry hall is where the big players like Kotobukiya, Yamato, Bandai etc will setup their booths showcasing latest products or selling convention exclusives. The queues to get exclusives can be pretty long though so be prepared to do alot of queueing up if you want to get multiple items. Its not nearly as chaotic as Comifest (which i swear i will never attend) so I think you'll be fine if you're just a casual visitor. EDIT: Now i feel stupid.....this is an american con, not the Japanese one. =.=;;
  24. I think, re-attachment of limbs seem to be easily done by NERV....but regeneration might not be viable. All limbs that were chopped off were easily replaced, whereas EVA 00's hand got blown off so they couldn't replace it. Like a human body i guess...except re-attachment isn't 100% foolproof for us either.
  25. That eva looks too mechanical and weird......it might not be an eva, but something like the artificial mechanical evas (JET SOMETHING? forgot the name). I'm guessing it plays more of a support role than a combat role. Looks too flimsy. Actually EVA are cloned Adam, so yeah they should be humanoid since Adam was humanoid.
