Seriously tho, I liked Covenant even tho I would have liked the trajectory the Prometheus was going in - I liked the mystery, i liked the ancient tech that was so far advanced than ours - I liked the little of what we saw in the 'military installation' that could be further explored, either revisiting LV-226 (262? I don't remember) or on an engineer world. Contrary to what Hukuro said, I thought the aliens all round where crazy formidable and just knew that no one had much of a chance if they got too close. I loved the look, feel and movement of the new Alien. Head-butts FTW.

    Good god, a lot of you people must really be fun at parties... Go see the movie, make up your own damn minds!! Be more like Isamu and try the damn fruit yourself to be sure. I thought the movie was perfectly fine, but then again I'm a huge fan of Prometheus. To me, I'm just enjoying the ride from Sir Ridley. So far so good. I'm really tired of the endless forum posts/youtube vids 'explaining' the ending or whatever, can't people nowadays just ask their own questions and make their own assumptions or theories? It's more fun that way, no body should enjoy having every little detail explained to them. Get of my lawn.

    In a little under two weeks from today I'm going to start making the side vents and pilot seats to go along with the neck cover. Once made, I'll be throwing them up on my shapeways store with no mark up to test the pieces (I don't have income to buy fun stuff anymore) for a limited time so you can test them for me. I'll put them up in 3 lots; neck cover + cover & seat - neck cover + cover + tandem seats - side vents x2 (L&R) and also maybe all in one lot to see if that'll be cheaper. Any interest in that>? Slowly getting back on the horse and eyeballing my old design plans for that VF-11 Armour...

    I loved the 'new' x-wing design. I say 'new' because it is a rehash of Macquarie's original design for the x-wing. I'm looking forward to the slightly updated A-wing (pics have floated around of it too). Unless there is a good reason in-story for it, I don't mind not seeing a new Y-wing or B-Wing. Wasn't the B-wing just the model that was phasing out the old y-wing? Besides the new x-wing out performs the old one and can lay down torpedos like a mo-fo, so maybe making a newer y-wing obsolete anyways.     Saw it last night too, my spoiler free synopsis: It drew from all iterations and weaved them together well enough. The trope of stolen identify was meh inducing, and the film itself felt quite mediocre for the first bit - BUT at a certain point (won't spoil) it suddenly felt Ghost-in-the-Shelly enough to make up for the beginning. More than once I was grinning like an idiot due to fan service/spot on designs/nods to the original and just being beautiful. I also felt they didn't go as deep philosophically as the originals, but that's the price you pay for a Hollywood release. It was cool, I feel a sequel will do the source material justice.

    Man, this movie was AWESOME!! Went to the midnight screening - man, it felt like a hard journey, very punchy action beats and attention to detail - urgh, *so* much eye candy!!! I loved the ending too :3
