  1. I've tried both the Gundam marker and pencil, and I think both look good. The pencil is advantageous, because it does come off easily if you think you've made the lines too dark. Oh yeah, if you want to know about the oil wash method, check out the modeling or How to customize Macross Models forums; panel line questions appear often along with good advice.

    Joon's Valkyries

The thread topic is Joon's valkyries, not MPCs. If you want to bitch and moan about people not agreeing with you about MPCs, then start another thread. Hopefully you choose to do it on, once again, Robotech.com.

    Joon's Valkyries

Well, back on topic. . . does anyone have a pic of the "Gundam box?" I have a green Joon's valkyrie, but it's in a regular box.

Yeah, your comment gets the double rolleyes. Go back to Robotech.com.
  5. Almost forgot the 1/72! Beer to HELP you keep your balance; that's a new one on me.
  6. A 1/55 for the "chunky monkey" fans.
  7. Now I see the fun that can be had with digital cameras! Anyway, here's a 1/48 in action.
  8. Holy schinikes! LOL! I don't even think the FP version I bought was worth the $60. Oh well, if you just gotta have a 21. . .
  9. I think Future (floor wax) is a good protectant. I've brushed some on a 1/55 tail section and tried to scratch the paint with my finger nail; it's seems pretty durable and is recommended by a couple of the customizers on here. If you don't like the glossy look the Future gives the parts, a dull coat can be applied over it. Hope this helps.
  10. Actually, at some point, the whole car becomes an expensive toy. I think my most expensive toys are my 1/48 Yamato's, followed by the $100 I paid for a Bandai VF-19s, back in 1995.
  11. Just over the last couple months? BTW, are YOU going to buy the Q-Rau? Do you think the VF-0 will be worth it?
  12. Indigofx28 has a damn versatile custom! Pretty cool how a TV Hikaru can be wiped clean and become a whole new custom with a trip to the hobby shop for more 1/48 Tomcat decals. Of course, stripping whatever sealer applied over the water slide decals would be a pain each time.
  13. Yamato really needs to hurry up and make at least one of these, because people are getting tired of bitching about the Q-Rau and will soon need something else to say, "too expensive", "no die cast," "f-you" about.
  14. Very nice custom! Are those decals from the Revell 1/48 Tomcat kit? I disagree with adding the red heat shield. I like the black one; you could just add a "Felix" decal to it and then seal it up, so it doesn't scratch off.
