  1. I got mine today from HLJ and I have to say it is a very VERY nice figure.

I was surprised at how many moving bits it has for such a small toy/collectable.

BTW if you put one of the eye pieces in without any decals she looks creepy.

The Mrs suggested I paint one of the eye pieces red to make her super Psycho.

    I admit I am tempted.

  2. Before you go crazy looking for a warped pin, it can also just be that the air-break mount is a tad too long... some people have had success in sanding down the leading edge a little at a time until it fit right in there...

He's probably correct. I for some reason was thinking you were talking about the intake ducts.

Just take your time and inspect the part and it's neighbors carfully and adjust what you need with

something in the ballpark of 500 grit.

  3. Is that SS missing something?

Is it the "hips"? I part of the intake assembly, correct? Do those come off normally?

The one beside Omega Supreme is the Japanese version of the Classics Starscream.

    maybe you guys can help?

i'm having a hard time getting the airbrake part(don't know what to really call it) on my MP SS to sit flush in fighter mode.

anyone know how to fix this? or if its even fixable?

    thanks in advance! :)

Check the pin that runs through the chest/shoulder/intake if it is bent or mis-aligned then there little than can be done.

This sort of flaw is from the factory and it very, very hard to fix on this toy as the pin is very long and goes through

like ten points of contact in the toy's upper torso.

  4. i remember in the comics and novels about the concentration camps, and the laser graphed bar codes on their skin. There was a scene in a comic, cant recall which, but there were humans being dumped into some plant and they were basically being crushed and tortured.

Kyle Reese: This is burned in by laser scan. Some of us were kept alive... to work... loading bodies. The disposal units ran night and day. We were that close to going out forever. But there was one man who taught us to fight, to storm the wire of the camps, to smash those metal motherfarters into junk. He turned it around. He brought us back from the brink. His name is Connor. John Connor. Your son, Sarah, your unborn son.

If I remember correctly the "Diposal Units" turned bodies into chemicals the machines needed like oil and what not.

  5. Personally, I want to see a darker YF-21. They've all been too light, but the new one looks the lightest. Give me Blue Angels blue or thereabouts, or maybe even slightly darker than that. It needs to be DARK blue, not a dark version of Max blue.

True about the "Blue Angel" Blue but, Japanese collectors items have a very bad habit of being too light/wrong shade

when it comes to red, blue, or purple. The companies tend to release them a shade or two brighter than any art of

    the subject ever was.

For example the "Cartoon Colors" Galvatron released a few years ago. I like it's colors better than the original

(Yes I know about the UK Comic.... ) but it certainly is rather lavender looking compared to the movie

    and cartoon art.

  6. Had a meeting with Yamato today. One thing of interest I found out is that since the Nora SV-51, Yamato have had a new QC guy on board. I think you will all agree that the QC on the Nora was excellent and a big improvement over the Ivanov. This bodes well for the YF-21. I also should get to mess around with a YF-21 sample soon so I can check for problems before it is released.
