Yeah most likely a reason. Although the sight of 3 other DYRL valks plus the sets and missiles must have made folks think abt their budgeting if they want to get all... Certainly the case with me...my focus still remains on vermillion team and probably waiting for dyrl focker..tho dyrl hikaru still looks tempting... And with yf-21 coming in too...phew!!

With 2 1/48 VF-1 releases next to each other, and already shots of other DYRL valks, am expecting 1/48 VF-1 after market prices to have some slippage... 22k may or may not be the lowest for the foreseeable future? Will see...

Wow surreal picture of these 2 together in toy form! 4G panel lining so awesome in all modes, esp since the wings are visible from front in battroid too! Nice! Everything scales together makes it look interesting, doesn't matter if its accurate. Are you planning on painting the smoke trails? Or tot abt hiding LED lights in the glue for fire effects?

Looks like you covered the every inch of the cab with white light! I suspect being LED bulbs they dont raise the tempreture at all, even with so many switched on? Nice setup!

Depends if you think bandai will launch in 1st half of next year or not. If it’s the first half, then I think December preorders are possible. if you believe it’s a 2nd half of next year release, then probably March/April preorder.

From my translation, YF-21 also has a high maneuver mode that eliminates limbs and increases mobility, and is expected to reproduce gimmicks. It might seem the author is also like the rest of us, and is merely hoping/expecting that the gimmicks/add-ons are included. Limb/purge mode would be a huge step forward for a DX valk, if it can be implemented. Am not sure how that would affect the overall articulation and structural integrity of the DX tho. Fingers crossed!

Bandai macross release slots, February and April next year are already filled. Perhaps bandai will slide in a March release for the 21? if so, then I hope we will get more info on what’s to be bundled in and perhaps a preorder date sometime in December? if release dates are not March, then preorders would be next year..

This pic below was tripping me up, esp the circle area where it seems that under the lower belly plate exists another panel. Logically this cannot be the leg, as that seems to be part fuselage? There is so much going on under there, i agree the logical choice would be to have fold out plates.

I see it now. So is the question also whether the lower belly plate folds open or slides open for the legs to pop out?

Could it be that the lower belly plate slides into the front belly plate, and so the length can be adjusted? Tho, i hope the lower belly plate doesnt end up all loose and slide all over the place, if so.

As long as its not Mobile suit Garfield! Guilty! Especially the lower right cell....so far i see what seems to b paper crafts of the VF-1, VF-25... Part of me is hoping the lower cell is the new movie valk he is tinkering with..but the odds of that secret showing is next to nil...
