I don't think any of the Macross music so far has been bad but all together it is forgettable. Frontier is probably the best so far due to its vocals and musical variety.

I don't know what to expect of the next Macross in terms of music. I know that some people might say that Macross won't repeat itself but I don't think that is true. Macross will do what they think is right for its time. Macross has always been Pop, in the traditional sense. I'm just hoping that this time around Pop means something R&B-esque.

    <insert pitchforks gif here> 😅

i wanna forget that tune but each time i unbox a VF-1....😂

Wonder if Bandai will really pull off a d*ck move to release an 0S+Ghost bundle and then another 0S+Reactive Armor release lol.

To me, the ideal would be:

    1. A 2-piece, Ghosts-only QF-2200D-A & QF-2200D-B release, and a standalone / 0S-bundled Reactive Armor release. 0A will be standalone like the current 0S.

    or

    2. A Reactive Armor + Ghost release for the 0S, and the 0A bundled with a Ghost. I don't mind if it's just the QF-2200D-B Ghost variant here.

Dont give them ideas! On top of that they will make it p-bandai...which i think any ghost sets would be an ideal candidate...

Waiting for this to hit the western market to decide on a duplicate.

But... I'd rather have doubles and triples of a 0A...

Decided not to budge for the 0S unless ridiculously on discount, or a unlikely reissue with less translucent plastic.

Liking the progress so far @Angesdad :good:

The 0S is a bit tricky to decide on duplicates, because we do not know if Bandai will issue a standalone armor-only pack, or a valk+armor set. Likely the latter going by the VF-1 releases. But I think the current prices have kinda just about bottomed out, as far as can be seen in Mandarake. 1/3 off retail in the secondary market, with new ones being about 1/4 off. I am afraid if this trend continues to the 0D on international release, Bandai will abandon it altogether and won't continue to the 0A..

I think my brain got overloaded the other time, saw the slots on the fuselage and bought one cos of the likelihood of a RA attaching to it.
Should have tot it through, likely the RA would be in a HMR pack with another 0S...

Of course folks who want to display the 0S, 0D and likely 0A in flight should get the single 0S release...

Bandai should have done an 0S with ghost pack anyway as a first release...sigh...

Don't get me wrong, that's cool, but can it be bought separately, or do we need to buy a whole nother kit...?

This was what was shown at wave's booth..seems to be another vf-171EX release with the armor included..

I'm gonna be getting this even though I don't collect model kits, just becuse it's the YF-21. Release the DX Chogokin, you cowards!!! (^.^')

    Whoa FUSELAGE TILT!

Now someone can make a stop motion animation to the tune of beyonce's irreplaceable ...to the left to the left...ahem.🤪

And on bandai being cowards....insert *bandai does things as its meant to be or something like that* pic here...

I'm digging the 0D!! Can't decide which mode I'm leaving it.

like Froy said get 2 more....😁

for me though, i like battroid mode...somehow aggressive with jangly bits and not sure if nose fuselage slimmer than arcadia's for a fitter/not fat look..

So, what is next on everybody's DX VF-1 wish list, after the release of the Hikaru VF-1S with clear Strike/Super Parts?

    For me, I really want:

    • VF-1A TV Cannon Fodder
    • VT-1
    • VE-1
    • VF-1A Hikaru DYRL
    • VF-1A Max DYRL
    • VF-1S Max DYRL

Would like a VF-1 VR, which had a small mention (more of a screen grab from SDFM asking what VF-1 should be next...) in one of the hobby mags previously. Candidate for a P-Bandai if so...

else i would prefer a 1A CF or a 1A Kakizaki to round out the TV platoon.

I was thinking... the new Frontier re-releases they all have a matt finish. The reason behind that is, from what i understood, that the extra layer would prevent the plastic from yellowing. But if that's the case i don't think that the new VF-1s (angel bird for example) actually have that kind of protection, right? I might be wrong but if the reason is really the yellowing i find it weird they don't use it on every other VFs....

matt preventing plastic from yellowing? i didnt hear of that before...

my cynical side opines the re-releases are matt because bandai's factory ran out of gloss or was too costly or switched to a cheaper factory ...🤪

Are you used to using on-ear or over-ear headphones there?

YMMV, but when I switched to remote work at the start of the pandemic and my gaming PC also became an office workstation, I found over-the-ear headphones with a firm but narrow ear cup made a huge difference in preventing or reducing the frequency of those headaches.  The ones I had the best success with in terms of long-term use were the Logitech G935s.  They've held up pretty well for me... the only issue I've had with the pair I got back in like '18 or so is diminished battery life, but the battery's replacable.  (The one downside is the rigid foam traps a lot more body heat, so it gets a bit sweaty under there after 4-5 hours.)

I used to only have over ear headphones. Probably marketing got to me with the immersion/comfort etc etc.

But since i dont game as much as i used to, the headphones usually end up untouched for long periods of time. Currently i use beats flex in-ear earphones just for voice calls on the PC but its not for marathon gaming purposes as the battery wont last.

I have a small room for my PC setup, at the moment i get away somewhat with acoustics boosted, having my desktop speakers and sub near walls to 'amplify'/'bounce'.:pardon:
