Thanks for the pic lollicon. I think it looks better on mirage due to the color contrast of the drakens with a maroon(?) fuselage. Its a bit muted here with the blue. Nice panel lining on hayate's valk too....

The vf-4g, 1:6000 sdf, vf-1 parts, 31e, 31s armor reveals seem to be it. Not a bad showing but probably there needs to be plans for line expansions before any other prototypes would be attempted...

The best is the one you can secure a pre-order with. I found hlj to be expensive but packaging is best(?). Out of the yf-19 I ordered hlj box was the biggest but also the only one that got detained by customs. Ami is also at par with hlj IMO, but at times, hard to secure pre-orders. CDJ is becoming my de-facto shop but prices fluctuate and payment system is slow. Using PayPal you will need to pay in advance. Their reward system is good to offset shipping and at times a good discount. NY is cheapest but hard to secure pre-orders, and recent business practises have dinked their reputation a bit. Reward system can be profitable but you need to buy a lot. AE and NY also list slower than the rest so it’s a gamble to preorder as you don’t know when they list. Amazon seems to be having some good links recently. nin- nin, my kombini are gambles most of the times.

Micro gaps cannot be eliminated on transforming toys IMO. I think the more appropriate word is for a seamless toy, or at least having seams positioned less visibly. But some may say that is the character of a toy.

yeah me too...tho the RD stuff has quite nice accesories and the price wont be as pricey...cant even imagine a GP02 MB, that thing is gonna pricey! -
i cant recall seeing them in close enough detail to tell. But even if they weren't and the tornado cannons had some different color, overall i thk multiple white and orange armors will overwhelm everything...

Hmm if bandai doesnt change the orange panels, and releases multiple armors for different valks, the only differentiating factor would be the shoulder colors and emblem out on the chest... That might be too much orange and white for a display at one go...so i am thinking if bandai doesn't change the orange parts, then we might not be getting multiple armors even tho there were 3 in action and 5 on the cover of the movie.....

It folds up into its TACO mode. The Radome will contract the outer edges, and if you can see in the physical toy, on the extended radome, near chuck's antennea, there are 2 hinges between the dark grey and grey areas. These form the folds. There is also a long hinge along the rectangle in the middle of the radome.

Hopefully this Sunday will tell! And if there is, sometimes there is problem of no photographs allowed and only had a single wide shot of the prototypes... anyone here manage to score tix to go? Play I spy with my macross eye?
