The VF-19 Excalibur engine ratings in the Macross Chronicle
azrael replied to Mr March's topic in Movies and TV Series
And if you want a real headache, the VF-171EX's FF-2550F engines, which are noted as the same used in the the VF-19, are rated at 67.5t (max. output in space). -
And here you thought my hatred of VF-1, Lynn Minmay and Mylene articles was bad.

The VF-19 Excalibur engine ratings in the Macross Chronicle

Blame Kawamori and the Chronicle editors. Heck, the VF-19S' engines use to be FF-2550Js and then they became FF-2550Xs. And heck, the VF-19As 56,500 kg FF-2200 engines still give it a max velocity of Mach 5.1+ @ 10,000m and the VF-19A is the heaviest of the family (from my last check). -

Agreed. Save some cash and get more storage space. -
That doesn't remove the fact that there's still VF-1 material...

As I've said, even bullcrap can make money if marketed correctly. Nostalgia will only bring so many people. Beyond that, you'll have to market something else besides nostalgia.

Depends on your definition of "purgatory". If you were stuck on a island in the middle of nowhere, not allowed to leave, with another guy who was bringing people to this island just to prove a point, for a thousand+ years, and with a bunch of souls who just can't get over it and move on, ya might just get sick of the place and call it "purgatory".

Still involved? Define "still involved"...The man did his work, got paid, and walked away. WB will call if they decide to greenlight with his work.

Old news. Those were for the 1/72 models. http://www.hlj.com/macdecal2010.html

As of posting, Live Programming registration only opened a month ago and they have not posted any online tentative schedule.

The problem I'm seeing with SGU, character-wise, is part of the premise of the show. In SGA, the characters all volunteered for the mission or were sent there by orders or whatnot. So everybody who was there, served a purpose there. In SGU, you have a lot of people there who are not suppose to be there. Col. Young wasn't suppose to be the leader of the expedition, Col. Telford was. Etc...... I think from a writing standpoint, it is an interesting dilemma of what to do with these characters. It is both a interesting challenge but at the same time, the writers need to really think about what to do with these people, otherwise, it's going to drag down the show.

IIRC, through other sites, the creators have said what they have intended to wrap up may not need all the characters physically there for them to wrap-up certain plot points. But we still have episode 15 (which is suppose to involve Jacob and the MIB) which is also suppose to have more answers, which comes right before the finale, so I'll wait for that episode before passing judgment.

Why thanks..... Now without further ado.... Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Are we done yet? Eh? They jumpin' to the MII timeline?

She's dead according to the island. As for the alternate continuity, she could be alive there.
-
I just like the explanation. "The island was done with her."

Cinematics look good. Actual in-game shots looks pretty clean. Now...when's that trailer gonna come out.

Could have been a wireless network card. That's the only other thing I can think of. -

Hmmmm...considering that some of that stuff is usually soldered in...having it loose is probably not a good thing. -
Dunno. There is a G.F.F. Metal Composite coming.

If you want to be safe and just make sure it's working, try booting to safe mode. Is the laptop's CPU fan spinning? Or does it spin up then die down? When you said it was hot, was it hot to the touch (i.e., if it was any hotter, you'd need oven mitts) or just warm? Right now, I'm thinking either the video card (if it's not integrated video) is gone or something on the motherboard is but I can't be sure. -

Is your battery still in good shape? Remove the battery and see if you can power up with just the AC adapter. Attach a monitor to it and see if you can get video out. Do you have an external hard drive enclosure? Does it work for your laptop hard drive? Take out your hard drive and see if you can use another computer to read it. If all looks good, your data should be fine. -
I've removed his avatar till he fixes it. You should shouldn't see the login prompt anymore.
