  1. The 29/30 duo kind off reminds me to the 19/21 one. The 19 and 29 are similar and though ages apart there are some similarities with the 21 and 30. It would be nice to have an OVA featuring these two, "fighting" over which one would be the next CF fighter.
  2. I have an unopened VF-1D 30th anniversary ready to be sold if Yamato releases a FB2012 version this year. I'll give this year though, after that, that baby is coming out of the box
  3. Happy new year to everyone! So, 2012 is over, the world didn't end and here we are. There's a similar thread around but I wanted to know what were your wishes in terms of Macross toys for this year. This would cover everything, toys, kits, figures, it doesn't matter the scale, brand, anything goes. It can be only one, a top 5, a top 10, whatever! Here's my list. I'm a sucker for 1/60 transformable toys, so my top 5 is basically that, in order of importance: 1- Bandai 1/60 VF-27 renewall - There's been speculation regarding this, since the super parts were announced, but now that the rvf-25 has a renewall it seems only logical that sometime during this year we would have this 2- Yamato 1/60 VF-11 Armored - This is provably the most far fetched of my wishes, but Yamato is starting to squeeze the juice out of the M7 license, so, anything could happen 3- Yamato 1/60 VF-4 FB2012 - Hopping Yamato did good (and I think they did) on the sales for the vf-4, maybe they venture to make the FB2012 color scheme. The fact that the decal sheet on the vf-4 has the Hikaru name decal kind of gives me hope (though it might be for customization purposes only) 4- Yamato 1/60 VF-0D/Macross Zero valks V2 - I missed the first run and I would love to have a vf-0S and after 10 years this line deserved a v2 5- Bandai 1/60 VF-171 EX Lucca custom - Now that the CF is announced I hope Bandai continues to produce Frontier toys and the next in line IMO would be this one. That's about it. So, what do you wish for?
  4. CollectionDX site says this will be out on April 2013, I guess we can all go to sleep now....
  5. +1! Bandai released renewals for al 4 25 (ok, 3, but they announced Luccas for next year). We can all agree that Brera is more popular than Lucca, it would be stupid not to do a renewal on the 27.
  6. But the old 27 can't fit the new super parts, or can it? Not sure if it is a renewal but it must be at least a reissue, right?
  7. So..., the race for the first picture is ON!
  8. VF-19P, but I'm in South America, so I'll see it in mid-January..., if I'm lucky
  9. If this was a matter of just changing the colors of an existing valk, then we wouldn't be having this discussion and fb2012 color scheme wouldn't be a problem, right? I mean, they have registered the vf-4, so...
  10. Yamato stated they were not doing the fb2012 version because they had the license for the M3 game since it was there that the vf-4 appeared in all 3 modes. If that is the case, they can at least do the Max and Millia color scheme. On the other hand, and this is what I don't get, is that, for example, I don't remember the angel birds or VE-1 (among others) transforming into anything on the show, but still they were produced.
  11. If you made up your mind about the 29, I'll go for the Alto custom.
  12. That's some nice work! what are you using as a reference?
  13. was a non kawamori design 1/60 macross toy ever made?
  14. I wonder if we'll get to see a 171 Lucca custom after this.
  15. So..., any estimates on the release dates for all this new valks? Would they be out for Xmas? (with Yamato pushing back their releases I really hope not) 2013 maybe?
  16. That would be a good answer. But if they mold new parts to accommodate the super parts, why no just fix the hole thing (like the crotch area)?? I would be very mad if I get this and 3 months latter they announce the renewal version
  17. Now that the RFV-25 is announced (http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37653) it would be plain stupid not to do the 27 renewal. I think the 27 is by far more popular than the rfv-25
  18. That look really good and well done on the markings
  19. This is not at all encouraging. First I thought "well, may be they are showing the super parts on the old mold because there is not renewal ready to show on" but if that is the case, then the super parts should fit on the new one, so, either they are not making one yet or the new one is very similar to the old one (to make the super parts fit). I know the 27 fixed a lot of the issues of the firsts 25's, but I don't think the super parts could be swapped just like that if they do a renewal. I mean, they should change something at least.
  20. If that on the left is actually the RVF-25 wing, then it should be something close to a 1/60
  21. It's a great piece of art and I think we have to look at it just like that. It depicts a moment, provably one we all would like to see haha. I think everyone sees Ranka as an naive, maybe innocent girl (not even a woman), still she is depicted almost fully naked on the side of the Koning monster, do you really see Ranka in that position?? It's art, and I think it's great BTW, I'll take Misa over Minmay any day
  22. Amazing in so many ways! Love the marking, specially the Zentradi insignia
  23. Is there a chance we'll see a new valk in FB7 and Baindai is waiting for that to announce a new toy for the end of the year???? That might answer the question on why there is no announcement for the rvf-25 and vf-27 renewal yet
  24. As long as we are on this subject. I just received my YF-21 and the canopy is completely loose, it wiggles from one side to the other and it's impossible to have it in an open position. Anyone with this problem?? My VF-22S had a similar problem, but it was good enough to have it open if you play with it a little. Am I missing something? is there a secret way to lock it??? BTW, wings are OK on the 21, but the 22 has a loose left wing also.
