I'm very bias but I adore the 1/48 Hikaru VF-1S with the Strike Pack.
I don't think there is anything wrong with that at all !
-
I like the 1/48 design just the way it is, all I'd want is for them to make the shoulders sit up higher in fighter mode.

The shoulder design's my only gripe with the 1/48 line as well. Other than that, I think it's perfect.

What will it take to get some Visionaries love? That was the 80s 'toon version of Firefly, gone long before its time
This was one of my favorites as well! Here's hoping that it will also be released on DVD someday, Knights of the Magical light and all !
-
Damn, these are very tempting!! Good luck with the sale, bro!
-
Thanks for the heads up, AREASEVEN! I've been waiting awhile for this to come out on dvd.

The Ver.2 1/60 scale is great in many aspects, but the 1/48 is still #1 in my book and to prove it I just purchased one a couple of weeks ago. Just love the sheer size of it, just like JENIUS pointed out.

Which version is the VF-1S Strike Roy?? TV or DYRL? Price n condition n pics
VF-1S STRIKE ROY is the DYRL version. The TV version is a SUPER PACK which does not come with a beam cannon attachment.

You could stil find them. I just sold off a lot of 9 (max and milia included) to a member here.
Good luck on your search.
Thanks, NB4M! The irony of all this is that back in 2004-2005, the M&M's were being sold for clearance prices online and I didn't jump on the chance to get it. Guess that's why they call 'em regrets .

if you offer enough you might get a nibble. Most, myself included, aren't even tempted to consider parting with one now-a-days unless the house payment is due and we can't sell plasma in time.
And I can't blame you for wanting to keep what you have. This particular variant's just hard to find and I'm just talking availability, not even prices !

Looking for the re-issue of the MAX chunky monkey. If you have one to let go, please let me know and state the condition of the toy and how much you're willing to let it go for. Just PM me for details. Thanks!

Just wanted to give props to nismoflip for my most recent purchase. The transaction went on as smooth as it can, the item came very well packaged and he just keeps in constant communication with the buyer. Anyone can buy with confidence with this guy. Thanks again, man!

Thanks connor99, I hate to sell it at this price since shipping is going to cost me around $35-40, but I need to sell off some things. I could ship it USPS parcel post but it may take up to 30 days for someone in the mainland to get this box. Thats how long it usually takes when I buy stuff online and have it shipped parcel post. I don't want my first sale here at MW to leave a bad experience with someone and have them wait 4-6 weeks (thats what the post office tells me). So I figured I try posting it here to help save me some auction site fees and give someone here at MW a deal. If it dosen't sell here I will be forced to put it on the auction site with a higher price tag .
Well, you've come to the right place, man, because a lot of folks here @ MW are also collectors so you can be sure that at least your valk's going to a good, new home.

Man, I wish I had the spare change for this! Great price too. Good luck on the sale, Keoki420!

If Yamato were to ever release this particular variant, that would be it for me in terms of the 1/48 line. Quite frankly I don't know what the problem was with having to come out with this re-paint because as everyone knows that's just what it is, a re-paint. All they had to do was put it together with the TV FP's and the HIKARU figure, which were both already in production.
-
Ya got PM !
-
Do you mean the first Issue Strike from Yamato?
No, he meant this one that comes with the mini flashlight: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=35691

Pour moi, it's the 1/72 scale VF-11B.
meh
Same here. The damn toy just does not hold up too well. Liking the VF-0 more now than this.
-
Me too. It would be nice to finally have a TV 1S in the 1/48 scale.
-
There really oughtta be a rule against people trying to argue about seller prices........Oh, wait, there is: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=31833

1/48 HIKARU 1J with the standard color GBP Armor.
-
Dude, ya got PM !

$300 for a used one just seems ridiculous! But it would be nice to get another 1S just so I can open it up and have it as a play piece. I just can't justify spending that much for this particular 1/60 V.2 variant, open box or not.
-
Nice! I'll finally get a chance to pick up a SUPER VF-1S in 1/60 scale! Already got the FP's, just need the valk! Thanks, ff95gj!

This was my first exposure to Macross as well and upon seeing the the 1/55's right after, it just became a total obsession .
