Can't blame you for trying, though, dapro. Never hurts to try.

Fighter mode for me. I just love the way a VF-1 looks in this particular mode, specially with the Fastpacks on.
-
Congratulations, dapro ! I hope ya do find some SSP's, 'coz as you already probably know, a VF-1 is an absolute beaut, but with some SSP's on, it is totally bad ass!

I would love to see the funky headed version for once..
I second that. Would be nice if we can get a re-ish of the DYRL 1S HIKARU too, but oh well.

A re-issue of the VF-0 without any QC issues would be nice. But I'd also settle for more Destroid releases .

Is eBay the only place to find the FP's now? Hlj and NY don't seem to have them.
These things are harder to find now than a virgin on prom night! and to think I was thinking of selling the extra set that I have, yeeesh!

Both scales of the VF-1 are actually great, in my opinion. Each have their own pros and cons. But here's my take on it in a nut shell: 1/48 scale = perfect display piece because of it's size. 1/60 scale = perfect for playability purposes. And since the head design is a matter of preferrence, I'd say go for the one that you really like!

I say go for the all-glass display case. It's nice to be able to view one's collection from any given angle.
-
I have to agree, TAKATOYS stickers are the best. Bought an extra set, just in case I ever got around to buying another 1/48.

My particular wish for this year would be.............to be able to pick up another 1 or 2 1/48 VF-1 to add to my collection. I lost a few during the last few years due to other financial needs and it would be nice to get some of those 1/48 back. At least, the ones that I really wanted.

Very nice indeed. Wonder how much it cost to build that proto?

One question guys..is there anything i can do try prevent old white plastic from yellowing?
Plastic will degrade and eventually turn yellow in time. The good thing about recently released valks is that they seem to be made of better quality plastic than the 1st release 1/48's, so it might take a while before they turn yellow. I would suggest though, that you keep then away from direct sunlight and in a rather cool place inside your home.

Thanks for the heads up, guys! Can't wait to see it!

I'm with DyNo on this one. The Silicone tips on my stand left marks and residue on the 1/48 HIKARU 1S that I have on display. For anyone thinking of purchasing the Flightpose stands, I recommend they either find a replacement for those Silicone tips or just look for an alternative type of display stand.

I hope they re-issue the standard color Tomahawk. I missed out on the first time and would like to get at least one for my collection.

Very nice indeed. I can't believe it's been 12 years since the initial release of the 1/72 scale MAC plus toys.

Good news indeed! Thanks, Swoosh!

I'd like a set of these as well !

+1 for the Bandai re-ish. They make great play pieces for kids under 10 and very durable. They won't fall apart unlike the toynami 1/100's and definitely cheaper than the Hi-metal version.

For some reason, I like this better than the actual Woodland colors YAMATO came out with. Nice work there, Wasabi-san!
