  1. I don't see why it would be a problem for YAMATO to bundle up the option parts w/ the packs and it doesn't matter to me if the packs came in a small bag or the usual plastic tray. The only thing that confuses me right now is why would they opt to release the valks as stand alone when we all know that folks would wanna get their respective FP's.

  2. My valks are so rarely in anything other than fighter mode, I figured a single set of the parts will do fine, and I didn't feel like rebuying any of the other VF-1s I already have. Now, if the updated VF-1D goes on sale later, I may cave to get the two seater parts, but that'll be a while, and I'd probably get a VE-1 first, if it ever gets another release.

From your lips to God's ears! I missed out on the VE-1 the first time, so if Yamato were to ever release that again, I will be jumping on the chance to get one.

  3. Having said that do you this rerelease will drive the price down on the older version

It sure did, at least @ HLJ! Took advantage and got me a nice deal :D ! I'm finally getting a TV Version 1S.

  4. Picked up a TV 1S too... figured the option parts that come with the 2012 release just ain't worth that much for me to spend that much more just to have them.

Ditto. I just wanted to have a TV 1S in the ver.2 1/60 format and I got it for a great price thanks to HLJ sales, a little bit of patience and a heads up from all of you guys :D !

  5. ok, so there is quite a lot of difference then.

my plan was to get tv version, since it is cheaper

but i will have to go for the movie version i guess.

That's probably a good idea since YAMATO has yet to do another re-issue of the DYRL version. It's kinda hard to find one right now for a decent price.

  6. What's the difference in Yamato's GBP-1S products. I noticed one is in a darker blue box and one is a flatter kinda white box. Are they the same thing just different releases? Are there a difference in the parts? Does one come with more awesome goodies?

For which scales are we talking about: 1/48 or 1/60?

  7. I saw several 6in Cheetaras at Wal-Mart yesterday. I'm waiting for the new classics version myself.

Just picked up a 6" Classics Lion-O from Target today. Not bad for a $15 toy. Thinking of picking up a Mumm-ra figure now though.

  8. I wouldn't mind having one more VF-1 in my collection, specially if it's in that size. The deal breaker for me though is the price and if the prices on the Ver.2 VF-1s are any indication, this baby would probably cost an arm and a leg.
