  1. Oddly enough, mine came the same way. And I bought it from BBTS where I have never had a problem with opened packaging. Didn't think anything about it since I removed mine for display. Only checked after your post in this thread. Strange. I wonder if some were reopened after initial packaging to add or inspect anything. Thoughts?
  2. Boomer is a Cylon?!? Was that a joke or a spoiler? ...Inquiring minds want to know.
  3. The yellow Tracks is a Japanese model only. All other countries get the blue Tracks. SWEET! CAn anyone tell me if the Alternater Tracks comes with the Flame sticker for the hood? I know the Binaltech one does. AFAIK, the sticker only comes with the Binaltech BT-06B Blue Tracks release. It is not included with Hasbro's Alternator blue Tracks or even Takara's initial Binaltech BT-06 Yellow Tracks. If you really want one and don't want to pay the extra money for BT-06B, then you can get a copy of the sticker from Reprolabels.
  4. For those who might have an idea, how long can we expect the Raptor flights to be suspended? And thankfully the pilot is okay. (although if it was pilot error he might wish he wasn't)
  5. FYI; Alternators Grimlock now in stock at BBTS. So it shouldn't be that much longer before they start showing up in stores. ...or not! Just noticed they were already sold out. That was quick, the extra stock didn't even last a day! Sorry folks. But it still holds true that they should hit retailers before Christmas.
  6. Twin Moons Anime is another really great place to get them, along with other anime toys. BBTS does a stellar job packing things, but I think Tam at Twin Moons goes above and beyond. His hand-written "thank you" notes are a nice touch, too. Check out TMA here: http://www.tmpanime.com/ AFAIK, Twin Moons only carries the Binaltech TF's and not the Alternators versions though.
  7. I would start kicking some major ass if that happenned. After all the money and work I've put into my car..... Unless they let me be an eX-Driver. You and me both kid. They would have to bludgeon me to death to get my supercharged, cat-free exhaust, gas-guzzling V8 mustang.
  8. Congratulations! And thanks to everyone who participated in this contest. VF22Red: When you get a chance, please PM me with your mailing address so I can get your prize in the mail. Thanks, Melissa
  9. I was excited about the Lion Voltron that Toynami is going to release...but with their current track record I'll pass. I want new Lion and Vehicle Voltron toys with excellent sculpts and enough diecast to knock out a large gorilla.
  10. For those who PM'ed wanting one of the Hasbro Primes: I have received everyone's PM and I promise I will get back to you. But first, I want to go to the Meridian Wal-Mart tomorrow and pick up as many as I can. That way, I'll have them in hand ready to go ($30.00 + 7% MS sales tax + exact shipping = total...no handling charges and no scalping..just what it costs me). If they don't all sell, maybe I will get the nerve to customize one in an all black paint scheme and maybe one in an UM white paint scheme. But I can tell you this...If you are a MIMB collector, these are *not* for you. The Hasbro Primes are packaged in window boxes. A couple of them were really bent up...and even the best looking ones have shelf wear from sitting on the aisle for so long. And just in case anyone is as paranoid as I am from all the recent MW scammers, you can call the store to verify. Meridian, MS Wal-Mart Supercenter on 1733 S. Frontage Rd. (601)485-2250. Prime is on the toy clearance aisle. I don't mind doing this at all to help fellow MW'ers out, but if you want to save on shipping you might try calling your local Wal-Mart store first. This isn't the only Wal-Mart in my area to put MP Prime on clearance this week at this price...although the other store only had two of them and not a huge stock like the Supercenter does. So you never know...your local store may have them at this price too. Let's go out with a Hasbro Prime leg shot....replete with faux battle damage on the knees. (I wonder if the battle damage can be removed without damaging the finish and removing the base color?)
  11. Sorry, I've got a crappy camera and no decent lighting tonight. But here is another pic to show the "battle damage" on the Hasbro Prime.
  12. For Gene, King Nor, and the others wanting to know the differences between the Hasbro and Takara Prime's: Hasbro Prime has shortened stacks, painted on battle damage, and a black gun. Takara Prime has regular stacks, no battle damage, and a gray gun. I've taken some pictures of the two together to show the differences. The shortened stacks on the Hasbro Prime don't look that bad until you compare it to the Takara one.. They are ways to fix that though. And I do like the black gun, and the much lower current price tag. Hasbro & Takara MP Primes: Takara on the left and Stubby on the right
  13. If you or anyone else wants a Hasbro MP Prime, just let me know. They are on clearance at my local Walmart for $30.00 plus tax and they have probably fifteen or twenty of them still left. Exact cost plus shipping.
  14. Terrific pictures! So who else thinks the next MW convention should be held at Ladic's place? ...only not during hurricane season.... Seriously though, best of luck to Ladic and all the others in the path of this storm.
  15. Somebody pinch me because I'm afraid that I might be dreaming this. Any pics of robot mode yet? What about release date and the expected price? I can't wait for this toy. Hope they make both versions of the Garland...transformable motorcycles rule!
  16. As am I! I would still love to have a couple of these beauties to build. No toy will ever look as good as a model, not to mention the pride you have when you finish one. But I'll support whatever you choose Ken...Good luck! Melissa
  17. You'll love this one. Number 984 has two issues. The right shoulder won't fold all the way down and allow the peg to reach the mounting hole. Not great but I can live with it. But the real kicker...the damn thing is missing the front part of it's face. It wasn't even in the box. Any chance of Toynazi selling parts needed to fix their "masterpieces"? Edit: to try and fix picture. This MPC is so bad, not even my cat will wake up long enough to chew on it.
  18. I know the one you are talking about Boxer. I've been breaking my head trying to figure out which book it's in. I've looked at all the ones I had. Great pic Hikaru! Page 41 of the Flashback 2012 art book. Don't have a scanner so I can't post it, but it is a different picture from this one. Hopefully someone with a scanner can put up a copy.
  19. My local Wal-Mart also has these in stock (in the Transformers aisle). If anyone wants one, let me know and I can pick it up for you for actual cost plus shipping. They are priced at $3.96 each. (plus 7% MS sales tax). Ugly little buggers. For some reason the head reminds me of the statues on Easter Island...
  20. Meh, I am not really all that impressed. I think my favorite plane (sorry F-14 fans) looks just fine in basic gray. Edit: Checked the link for more pics, and David is right. The underside is quite a bit different. I'm loving the paint scheme from that angle. ...from the link it appears to be a special paint scheme to celebrate some type of anniversary. For what or whom I have no clue.
  21. Monkeynugget has the 19 for sale and you can't go wrong dealing with Rob!
  22. King Nor is right. Remember all the JDAM's and other munitions from Afghanistan and Iraq that had special "messages" painted on them. If the crews had enough time to do that, I suppose they could've also painted them purple if they wanted. I saw pics of tank crews that had completely repainted the cannon on the tank so with enough downtime, anything is possible.
