On another note, has anyone here watched Shin Sekai Yori (From the New World)? I'm 8 episodes in and I have to say it's one of the strangest, yet most compelling recently made shows I've seen. It's like a mix of Akira, Elfen Lied and a Miyazaki film I really cannot explain it any other way.

As my favorite character in Star Trek, I'm really sad to hear that Leonard Nimoy has left us.

I was just watching the most recent episode of the anime "The Rolling Girls" and it had a character by the name of Misa Ichijo.

Just watched all of Ideon (TV & movies), "Be Invoked" was SOOO AMAZING! I love all anime even more mow.

I recently got a young coworker into Ideon and he loved it as well.

Oh, wow, those contraprops on that Bear were mesmerizing! So greatly curved as well. An old, still amazing aircraft. Also liked the Typhoons quite a bit - quite the mission load.

I love the ways that the cameras make the props look like they're slowly rotating. I actually saw that effect in person when taking photos from inside a turbo-propped commuter plane.

Chappie's head looks awfully familiar. And now that I learn the plot involves police robots.. Hmm...

i read somewhere that Chappie's head design was inspired by Briareos from Appleseed.

I'll have to check Gundam Planet out the next time that I'm up that way. It's only about an hour away from me.

I wonder if we'll see a season 3 at this point. I mean, we've yet to see any previous faces save for Meijin. Maybe we'll get like a "middle school champions enter the actual legit world tournament" season, or something of that sorts?

We've had Fellini and Luang Dallara mentioned as top fighters in the individual world tournament.

Actually, we did see one other face from the first season, Nils Nielson.

It's too bad stick is becoming a lost art - especially among performance cars. So maybe a paddle shifter with a dual-clutch does quicker gear changes, but it has no soul.

As for Lexus, get an RX. The NX just hit the showrooms, so no one has any reliability ratings on it yet. My old man has a 2011 RX450h and he loves it.

I didn't get any Gunpla for Christmas, either. Hell, it's actually been about two years since I've gotten any Gunpla. Last one that I got was the MG Full Armor Unicorn.

What was Microsoft thinking when they made the Xbox One controllers? They feel cheap and clunky compared to the Xbox 360 controllers.

On the other hand, the PS4 controllers feel much more refined compared to both the PS3 controllers and the new Xbox One controllers.

While it doesn't outright say that Vanessa is from French Guiana, her birthplace can be figured out if you know enough about geography. It is in the Compendium, but it's listed as France [south America]. Despite being on a totally different continent, French Guiana is considered part of France.

Nationality, sir. All the way from the beginning, we had the Americans, Europeans, the Japanese...and yes, the Chinese. But nobody from the Southern Hemisphere, unless it's proven opposite of what I said.

The closest we have is Vanessa, who's from French Guiana which is in South America. Located between 3 and 5 degrees north it's still in the Northern Hemisphere, but just barely.

I had no problems with the music and sound effects overpowering the dialog in the showing that I went to. I only saw the film in the regular 2-D version.

Overall, I totally enjoyed Interstellar. While the first 40 minutes wasn't the most exciting part of the film, I didn't find it bad enough to undermine all the positive aspects of the film.

Umm, second DVD release. While it wasn't that wide-spread, there was the ImaginAsian release from several weeks back.

I recommend against the 280ZX and suggest instead its predecessor the 280Z, or its successor the 300ZX. The S130 Z is an ugly waste of steel- a strange follow-up to one of the most beautiful cars Japan has ever made. And at least the 300ZX models were both technically impressive.

I'll have to disagree with you there, as I like how the 280ZX looked. It's the first generation 300ZX that I'm not too fond of as far as its looks go. But, hey, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

It would be interesting if Delta wound up being split like Gundam 00 was.
