  1. Looking to move my excellent condition DYRL 1/100 Bandai Hi-Metal SS VF-1S... the valk has been in fighter mode in my display case the whole time I owned it; never transformed, but the super/strike parts, landing gears, and missles have been installed. Has the somewhat loose feet typical of the hi-metals.

Price is SOLD to Vermillion One.Thanks for shopping. =)

  2. Randomly poking around on ebay bored at work just now, saw a pre-order for one of these, grabbed it... not too bad of a price as far as I can tell from other sites that were taking pre-orders.

    • Flipping merchandise bought from MacrossWorld on Macrossworld is not allowed. You cannot sell an item that you just bought from the for sale section for more than the price you bought it for. There will be a one year statute of limitation for each item.

A lot of MWorld folks have multiples of the same toy for whatever reason. If they bought a toy in the FS thread but had one at home already, and then decide to sell one of them within a year of the purchase, can they sell the one they had at home already for whatever price they choose based on this new rule? Or are you completely banned from selling that exact model of toy for one year for any price no matter where you got it from just because you bought one recently on MW? I'm not asking out of sarcasm or to debate anything because I'm glad things are clarified now after my thread got blown up, but either we address these gray areas now or there will be even more drama in the future.

  3. @Benson13: Ikea Dioder lights... they're great because you can string them all together and run them off of one main switch. All you have to do is route the wiring towards one of the back corners of your case and you're set.

@Jasonc: By far the hardest valks to come by in my case... the place I've seen them more frequently than anywhere else has been on Japanese auction sites that you can bid on through fromjapan.co.jp. Even then, they only pop up very rarely and usually start at 28000 yen, so it's a battle trying to grab them. Good luck bro, hope you land a set.

  4. I kno rite!

With my mouth it's a wonder anything is a secret :3

But I was trying to stay down low a bit cuz of you know who

Then again the product is abstract enough and has no trademarked terms attached to it

    But I don't want a C&D anytime soon :c

F*ck it... if they would've gotten on the ball and kept replacements openly available to folks stateside, it wouldn't have forced collectors' hands to come up with a solution. Count my signature on the list if we end up needing to sign a petition to free you if the man comes looking.

  5. @Ultraman Zoffy - Yay for fellow Detolf customizer!!!! haha... nice display dude. what clear display bases are you using to add the height in your shelf?

Haha... thanks KiriK. I've seen your collection posts and thought it was cool that I wasn't the only Detolf combiner around. I've actually been meaning to cut the tops and bases down on mine like you did to close the gap, but been too lazy. The display bases I use are a combination of acrylic display boxes that I buy from Michael's (the arts and crafts store) and acrylic risers I buy from ebay from a seller called Lasercreations. These all work really well and are on the cheap side of things. Advice for Michael's: keep an eye out for their weekly flyers and sales. They tend to put their acrylic boxes on sale 40% off every other week or so.

  6. My 1/60 V2 collection... not a crazy completist by any means, my only intention was to get all the Hikaru valks (DYRL VF-1A is on it's way if Angolz ever gets my damn order out... lol), the M&M Super VF-1J's, and all the 2-Seater valks. Outside of these, I've got my Mospeada/New Generation stuff (minus a blue Tread at the moment), a VF-0S, 1/100 Hi Metal SS VF-1S, and my 1/48 Super/Strike Stealth VF-1J (only 1/48 I care to own). After my Hikaru DYRL and Cavalier VF-1A's arrive, it'll be the end of a pretty expensive and drama riddled run for me as far as collecting the V2's go, and I'll finally be able to breath a sigh of relief and contentment. Now I can start experimenting with my hot glue gun to create my own "missile effects" for the GBP armor, because f*ck paying for that Yamato exclusive set at collector prices! :D Thanks to all the MWorld folks that helped me assemble this bunch.

  7. Why not? I like both and have stated as much.

Sorry, guess the sarcasm in my post was missed... I basically meant that I also like both, and I find it hilariously pointless that some dude up in here is arguing with the air about one being better than the other.

  8. Put me down for the group that hates Macross 7. I too an very easy going in terms of liking anime, as I have liked and finished almost every series I've watched (I even enjoyed Mobile Fighter G Gundam [which has been known to be the Macross 7 of the Gundam world]), but I just couldn't stand Macross 7.

Maybe it's because I started off my interests in Macross with Macross Plus, or because I found myself falling asleep rather quickly while watching Macross 7, but the series was altogether just not relatable at all to me. Honestly, I tried hard to finish the series, but I just couldn't do it...

    To each his own though!

    ++++1

Aside from seeing Max and Milia again, Macross 7 was mostly terrible. It was like watching the Transformers movies and thinking how cool they'd have been if it weren't for Shia Lebouf and the actors playing his parents toxifying every scene they were in. :p Removing Basara and taking the whole singing angle back 10 or 12 notches would've done wonders. Alas, to each their own... lol

  9. Well... there's always a first time. Nominating:

    168 Dragon Trading

Currently working on the return/refund, so won't slag this newegg.com seller too bad until I see how it pans out. HOWEVER, it's so laughably ridiculous that I'm sharing the order itself for entertainment purposes.

Okay, so let's start with the ITEM DESCRIPTION and the IMAGE of said item:

    480183_10150783320414254_507184253_11377432_1121613413_n.jpg577953_10150783320719254_507184253_11377434_2006570697_n.jpg

Description, image all legit looking... price obviously on the "too good to be true" side, but whatever... maybe the seller got a case that fell off the back of a Yamato delivery truck.

    AND now, what arrived today(!):

    564372_10150783326424254_507184253_11377467_1656818044_n.jpg

I'm a reasonable guy, and can understand an error or what have you, but G'DAMN, it's so far off from what was described that I can't help but laugh while at the same time be upset. So, thank you 168 Dragon Trading for giving me a good laugh after work... now send me an RMA number and give me my muthaf*cking money back. :p

**Updates: 168 Dragon Trading has been super communicative and straight up about the whole ordeal, and issued a full refund. Crisis averted, and I commend them for their honesty during the situation. Not sure if I'd order from them again, but I can say that they are cool about things when they f*ck up.**
