Just watched Macross 7 entirely, so I thought I'd vote... now, I guess this series has a sizeable following and all, and the toys from it don't look half bad, but personally... Macross 7 was almost unwatchable. Geezus, it was painful forcing myself to watch it just to hopefully find something redeemable about it, but aside from seeing Max and Miriya again, I got nothing. Immediately after watching 7, I had to go back and watch episodes of SDF: Macross as a palette cleanser. lol

Oh, and as far as my vote... Basara = Probably the worst character concept in Macross ever. But for folks that enjoy 7 and Basara, more power to you.

Just got a VF-1D, but I've got no qualms with buying a re-release and having 2 in my case... Keep the reissues coming, Yamato!

Thought I'd drop in and just rant about some recent transactions... I've been on the hunt for a Super Hikaru VF-1J recently, and placed two orders with online sellers (once on Sears.com and once through Newegg.com). Both listed the valk as IN STOCK, yet shortly after placing my order, I find out neither seller had the valk in stock, my account had already been debited, and despite getting a "refund", I have to sit for at least a week now because f*cking Paypal has to wait to receive the money from my bank before I can get the funds back. Add on top of that time frame the amount of time it takes for the funds to go back to my bank FROM paypal, and that's almost 2 weeks that I have to deal with having almost $400 less in my account, all because a*shole stores falsely advert stuff as being in stock. So, in short, I'd like to officially blacklist lame sellers who don't update their sh*t, and Paypal for playing the refund okie doke with my money.

EDIT: 5 total attempts to buy the VF-1J now from online retailers listing it as "In Stock"... 5 total cancellations and refunds due to the item being out of stock. I'm now waiting on close to $600 in refunds through paypal. F*CK THIS SH*T!!! argh.

I gotta start selling my valks without the accessories.

Man, I just realized how my sale heading looked... lol. Actually, it was "valk only" meaning no super parts, but still including all the other "standard" valk accessories.

I'm afraid that this is a 1S valkyrie but not with TV Roy pilot figure..

You know, I was always confused that it's boxed as the TV VF-1S but has a Hikaru figure. It actually should've came with both Roy in his purple flight suit AND the Hikaru figure, but oh well.

Putting up my VF-1S Roy Focker 1/60 V2 TV Version valkyrie for this weekend only! Pictures below... valk has only been transformed once to battroid before being placed in my display. This valk was originally part of the Super Valkyrie set (with TV super parts), but the sale is for the VALK ONLY. Valk is in excellent condition, no stickers applied. Price is $130 plus shipping and 4% pp fees. Valk can be shipped in original super valk set box, but if you want I can just place it in it's original plastic tray and ship it in a smaller box.

Thanks a ton, ae... I was kind of getting the feeling that these were super rare. I've seen the virgin road pop up too infrequently, so that might be one I can find. In any case, here's hoping for that reissue! It was getting to the point where I was considering just getting the 1/48 Max and Miriya valks just to rep them in my display.

OKAY... sorry it took me so long to get around to testing this out! I ended up using clear nail polish on both the hard points and the reflex missle holders on my 1/48 stealth valk. It does work, and quite well actually; the reflex missles don't fall off with the slightest movement anymore, and hardpoints are now tight enough so that the missles don't sway and move around when the wings are angled. Note though that removing missles from either the hard points or from the reflex missle trees will wear the nail polish down, but then all you have to do is recoat them. Cheap, good mod, especially if your wife or gf has the polish laying around already. lol

Since I don't know much about how Shapeways operates, does this mean that once this design is "registered" with them, that they will be available permanently on their site, made to order? Or do designers state a time limit of availability?
