  1. I usually have a spare super/strike set to sell off, but none at the moment. If you're interested, I should have an extra TV Super Parts set coming in soon that I can sell off... let me know, and I'll get in touch with you when it arrives.

  2. So you think these models aren’t the ones the Japanese fandom was expecting for?

These are the 3 more iconic valks from the SDF:M series that commemorates its 30th anniversary this year so it makes sense they re release them first. Then they’ve got the whole year for the rest of them and I guess until 2014 for the DYRL stuff.

I think most fans probably "expected" Yamato to release these 3 first, but since most fans already own these valks, I don't think it was these 3 valks that everyone necessarily "wanted" Yamato to re-release first. :) The cool thing is that they also made the Cavalier available in this first wave of re-releases, so that was nice of them.

  3. They seriously need a re-release on these things (both super ostrich and elintseeker) with the added goodies that the other re-releases are coming with. Tbh, I thought these two plus the max and miria supers would be re-released first, not the VF-1D, 1S, and 1J, all of which are already quite easily attainable at reasonable prices....

+1... I don't think Yamato choose wisely on any of these except possibly the VF-1D. 1S and Hikaru 1J are probably going to sit since most fans likely already have these.

As far as the option parts go, I'm a bit more on the "meh" side on these since (for now) it looks like they won't be released separately. Forcing folks to re-buy valks they already have for some seats and plugs is not a very thoughtful/considerate decision towards the fanbase, in my opinion, especially when the valks themselves haven't had any revisions. But whatever.

  4. Big thumbs up and thank you to ultraman zoffy!!! Both VF-1A Max Valk's arrived safely & heavily bubble wrapped, exactly as described and very fast shipping, even included the usps tracking number which is the sign of a experienced & reliable seller. I would definitely buy from again the next time my wallet has extra cash. Thank you again for the great deal!! :D

505thAirborne = Quality Buyer! Have fun with the Max Valks. ;)

  5. Valks sold to 505thAirborne! Thanks for looking folks.

    Hey folks,

Selling these 2 spare V2 1/60 Max VF-1A valks for cheap. Both are in excellent condition (no stickers attached, all accessories) EXCEPT for the 2 following dings:

    1) DYRL VF-1A Max valk has a backpack flap hinge that is broken on one side. Valk will come with flap, and the hinge can easily be repaired with sculpey or other type of modeling clay (or via whatever method works for you)

    2) TV VF-1A Max valk had a hardpoint that popped off, but was super glued back on and works perfectly again

Will let the pair go for $120 + shipping and paypal as personal gift. The DYRL valk was from a super/strike set, but sale is for VALK ONLY and it will be shipped in it's original large super/strike set box. Note that I can also do the following options: $120 SHIPPED, but they will not be shipped in their original boxes to shave shipping costs. They will be carefully packaged loose in battloid mode with all their accessories in a separate bag. OR $120 + shipping, but with both valks packed into the DYRL super/strike set box (it's big enough to accomodate both valks nicely).

US buyers only. Thanks! Looking to only sell these as a set, not separately.

  6. Is $200 reasonable? That was what I paid for each and it looks like they're going for that price again after being under $150 shipped awhile ago. Still totally worth it since they're so beautiful.

That's what I paid... $200 for a valk with super parts is definitely reasonable seeing as how the sets you can still find for sale at various stores (Hikaru super VF-1J, Super TV Roy VF-1S, etc.) go for about that much.

Going back to Archer's original post though, and yeah, I've seen Elintseekers on sale more often than I've seen MM VF-1J's... If super/strike reissues do occur, I suspect they'll be around or over $200 shipped seeing as how the announced reissues are all at $150 shipped already.
