Well, if it's the T-shirt, I suppose you could order it on the Animate website or get a friend in Japan to buy and send it to you. As for the Macross F 2025, a friend can try get you a ticket (very likely through a ballot) and there might be overseas viewing which you can buy and watch online live.

Christmas time! On the way back from rehersal she found an Indian restorant and Prata bread (something very difficult to find in Japan)! Christmas merch!

Before going to the main event, we’ll roughly review the artiste lineup for the day. We were sitting in the back category. First up was Sally Amaki – an American singer and Japanese VA based in Tokyo. She’s also in an idol girl group called 22/7. She’s also one of AFA’s interpreter. Second was KAF, a virtual idol. Hope one day she can show her real self! May’n was third in the line up which is never heard off! She was always the last act! But earlier we learned that she almost didn’t come because she was busy rehearsing for her Christmas Concert. But eventually she decided as AFASG was the event that brought her in contact with fans outside of Japan and opened up opportunities to perform in other countries. We supposed she would catch the night plane back Tokyo right after her turn. Forth was ReoNa. Unusual songs. She speaks like she’s whispering loudly. I think her music are the only ones without heavy bass which came out really crisp and clear. Last was the band Kana Boon. It took around 15 minutes to setup. It makes sense that if May’n was last, she would not have made it to the airport by the concert’s end. They were fun but unless you know their music, it’s difficult to hear as it was loud and ‘’windy’’ (the sound waves coming out of the speakers were like a breeze blowing at your shins) They were funny. They told of their experience eating in Singapore. They had Chicken rice and beer. They ordered round after round and when finally the bill came, they got a shock! Now they are poor. The audience is rich! Please buy our merchandise! XD May’n Wow! What an opening! Universal Bunny! Everyone was in the mood (except for the guys who was sitting next to me, didn’t budge for the last 2 singers as well). Lights sticks (provided by crunchyroll - sponsor) were everywhere! The venue was upgraded with 4 LED 4K screens for the benefit of those far from stage. For the next song, May’n brought 4 dancers for the song - Lies Goes On. The catchy dance moves and the music had the audience going crazy. You can clearly differentiate the level of vocals from the previous 2 singers. Next song is her latest one (Fantasy Strobe) and is about heroes. She tells us that we are her heroes! She then asked the audience to sing and do a heroic pose at a certain part of a chorus. Suddenly, some guy located in the front left area of the hall shouted at the top of his voice ‘OKaaaayyyy!’ Everyone had a good laugh! She add one more move – do a horizontal fist pose but with the thumb and the last finger pointing outward (like bull horns). Again the same guy shouted ‘OKaaaaaayyy!’ XD! Everyone had a good time in that song. Next was a song I haven’t heard for a long time – Chase the World! I was struggling to find the name of the song even though I’m know this song. Next she sang Belief (from Taboo Tattoo), you can hear some fatigue in her voice. Maybe she should have chosen a less strenuous number? At the same time because both songs were heavy on the bass, her vocal came out a bit muddled and it seem the ‘fiercer’ she sang the more muddled it became. But quite sure it’s all good in the VIP category. Graphite Diamond came out well. She then gave a short speech. She explained that next year is her 20th Anniversary in showbiz. She thanked everyone for their support all these years. No matter how much she’s grown, she wants to live a colorful life and keep delivering colorful music to all of us! At this moment the crowd gave a loud cheered. So for the final song……. the crowd was like in disbelief. She repeated one of the audience’s remark - ‘So Short?’ And actually it does feel like 5 minutes when in actually 30 minutes has passed! She asked the audience to light up their favourite color - Red, Blue, Pink or any color that best represent May’n. A fist is okay too. Lets create the most colorful night together! Everyone cheered! For the final song, is her precious song which she wrote when imagining a life show … Kaleidescope! And with that, her portion of the evening ends. At AFASG24 I met these 2 cosplayers from USA! They came to watch May'n perform! Coser : Alto (Peter Huang) and Sheryl (Limina) and Fans of May'n

AFASG24 have just concluded on Sunday. This year too there were no interviews. Sad..... May'n arrived on Saturday evening (30.11.24) and went around sight seeing. A few things happened and that all will be on the next post with our review on concert night.
