  1. *Ugh*, why can't the YF version be this cool??!!
  2. Still, its really cool, and good luck with that new project If you ever get the chance, you should definitely consider making a Bartley or Yellow version of the Beagle (you definitely seem to have the skills to do so)!
  3. Hey spedfish, I was wondering if that bike in your profile pic was an actual custom off of a regular Beagle? Did you really mod a regular beagle into that?!!! Sorry if you've already addressed this before....
  4. Speaking of all this hacking business, did anyone else hear about rumors that Sony will be reimbursing players with something or another store related due to the issues with psn being down and what - not. Its a fair call that a lot of people lost a lot of game time due to these issues. Thankfully (or not), I have been cramming for AP testing to take any notice of the hubbub with playstation store. I wouldn't mind getting a couple extra bucks for psn store use
  5. Sucks to hear about that Good luck with both the PS3 and getting back to work as well! On another note, I did not know the PS3 got a red light of death. Some of friends with older model PS3s (original 80G motor storm packages) got a yellow light which caused their PS3s to stop functioning. Fas as I can tell, Sony gave both of them new slim models free of charge I don't know for sure about any of this though...
  6. Good point, I never really thought about that . Then again, a lot of the stuff in these movies don't make sense... I think its best if we forget all about realism to get the most out of this movie I'll most likely be setting my brain to "stand-by" while I watch this
  7. I liked the trailer a lot, but I would like to point out that they managed to include 38 explosions in about 2 minutes worth of trailer. When they mentioned improvement upon Revenge of the Fallen, I guess they had "more 'splosions" in mind
  8. Is PSN up again? If its not, does anyone know when it will be? Sorry, but I don't have access to my PS3 at this time
  9. Those look pretty neat (well, the box art does at least ). Any pictures of the actual product though? "Entry" Grade sounds like it will be even easier to build than a regular HG 1/144, so the product may not be as great as the box art suggests btw, I just found this looking up some random model sites: http://kuiliu.wordpress.com/2009/09/10/gundam-exia-repair-gn-001/ Amazing - Credit goes to the modeler, though I can't find his name. I would get a commission work like that if I could
  10. I dunno. I know the 00 has its frame issues and what - not (i.e. lack of inner details etc.), but I really liked it for what it is. They tried something new, and it wasn't half bad imho. Also, there was a lot of new stuff introduced with the kit, such as condensors, and even moving motor parts (no matter how insignificant they were). Lastly, I thought that overall, it may not have been perfect, but it was a good attempt at the 00, and I liked it for what it was. I would even go as far as to say that it is (as of now) the best representation of the 00 raiser, and most likely will be so, unless the upcoming MG can top it. Beyond that, it was an all new kit, and not a remake of an old frame I dunno, but there has just been a lot of bashing of the 00, so I thought I'd throw in my $0.02 to help out the other side I guess it doesn't help to much that I am a fan of the 00 design though *looks at profile pic*
  11. Thoughts on After War Gundam X? Its the only gundam series (besides Turn A) that I have not watched.... I really haven't heard much about it, and it seems as though many people are indifferent towards it..? What do you guys think? Is it worth the watch?
  12. WOW, thanks for posting this! I kinda knew that an F-22 was probably bigger than a truck, but I never would have guessed the difference to have been this big! At that point, Optimus would be more like a minicon rather than the full on leader of the Autobots Sorry for the off topic reply....getting back on topic now
  13. Sorry for de-railing the thread guys (this might be slightly off topic): Does anyone know exactly when all the 00x side stories occur? I really liked the designs of Cherudim SAGA, and I was directed to various 00x sidestories for more info..... Do all these side stories occur alongside the main TV series? Or are they pre/sequels or maybe even a different timeline altogether? It would be weird for them to be prequels as some feature much more advanced suits than season 1 or even season 2 CB suits.... Just a question...
  14. Yeah, believe me, I was bummed a bit (It was my first yamato valk actually). Dunno, but I was fairly gentle with the thing, and assumed that any amount of overpressure would break it (meaning I was pretty careful when I transformed it), and as I pointed out above, it was my 4th transformation with it. Oh well, like I said, even though it bummed me out a bit, I can live
  15. Thanks. I worked with it yesterday and its not as bad as i initially thought. Sure, one of the hinges is gone, but the mechanism can still hold in place with the other hinge (left hinge broke, but right hinge is alright). This means that though it is loose, and can only stay in a full open, or full close position, its fine and can still be used as a part of the toy. Now the only issue i guess, beyond the looseness, would be the unsightly "break mark" where the hinge used to be
  16. Ouch, first breakage report on my 1/60 VF-1A Max that I ordered from HLJ. I don't know if I was mistransforming it or something, but one of the hinges that holds the folding cover for the back-pack booster broke, so the cover fell off. Not too big a deal because its covered up somewhere inside during fighter mode, and when transformed, it just kinda sat there under the back - pack, but it still hurts watching a $100 + toy break somewhere Oh wells, at least I didn't break an arm or something, and it was minor.... (it was my 1st transformation back to fighter from battroid btw, though I had to and from gerwalk to fighter multiple times)
  17. Well, detailing and stuff on the raw kit isn't too big a deal for me mostly because I plan on painting the kit when I do have it, and I am not too much a stickler when it comes to inner detail. Anyways, on a side note, for those of you that do have it, can you take the thing off of the stand they provide, or is it permanently attached (thinking of some display options)
  18. Yeah, the main thing that appealed to me is the sheer size of the thing. Looks like a lot of fun as well with all the detail and extra bits. And even more so, the containers and contents of the weapon rack looks really playable and fun to display with as well! One thing I guess i should add is a question I guess. I really like this kit, but my favorite PG (GP-01) is also around the same price. Which one do you think is worth the pick - up? And to the MG Epyon, yes, it does look terrible - I don't really get the whole wing design as well as shoulder plates. Even more so, the thing just looks really.....wrong to me (Random teeth on the feet?)
  19. Then look at this I found this a couple days ago. Credit goes to modeler "maidenspirit". Looks to be fully posable too, though it doesn't seem to be able to transform.... http://blog.naver.com/maidenspirit/150037788375 Btw, sooooo, does anyone have the HGUC Dendrobium Orchis? Is it any good?
  20. Anyone have an HGUC GP-03 Dendrobium Orchis? Is it worth the $250 - $300. I really love the concept of it (Mobile Armor + Gundam) as well as the whole containers system that it comes with. Looks like a lot of fun to build and display, and seems to have a lot of playability as well. If anyone has it, do you think its worth the pick-up? I have a whole week off for spring break, and I was looking to buy and build this thing
  21. Oh, I didn't mean that the Z movie ending retcons the ZZ series entirely, I just meant to say that if one considers solely the Zeta movie ending as canon, then a lot of the elements in ZZ won't make sense Maybe it was a misuse of the word "retcon"?
  22. Just kind of a random question for you guys, but what do you think is the best Perfect Grade model Bandai has put out so far? I have been hearing a lot of "That perfect grade is the best one" and stuff along those lines from numerous people in different forums, so I just wanted to test the waters... What do you guys think is the best perfect grade put out so far? For me, since I am more into detail and stuff, would be the PG GP-01. The first gundam toy I ever got was a 12" DX GP-01 when I was around 10ish and Gundam was actually airing and kinda popular with kids here in the U.S. I really liked that thing, and had a TON of childhood memories messing around with it emulating the TV show. Therefore, the PG GP-01 just made sense to me and seemed like a natural build upon the model of my childhood. It has TONS of detail and a lot of playability and diorama potential as well. Just my thoughts, but what do you guys think? (Also, that new MG Epyon looks horrible IMHO....)
  23. Nice! But just a suggestion on my part, if you haven't already heard that is, you should definitely try and watch the last episode of the Zeta TV series after you finish watching the movies mainly because the ending of the movies is a little bit different than that of the TV series. Furthermore, the movie (trilogy of movies) ending essentially retcons much of the continuing series, which would be ZZ. Just a thought, unless you already know that is
