1. Thanks for the email, I guess I shouldn't use their sales email.
2. It's pretty hard to not put the peg far enough into the hole. You can try that at home. But lets just say that the toy did fall off due to that reason with the cup piece attached, the toy will fall 6 inch to the hard surface of the desk or table with the toy taking the full falling impact and whatever remainding of the stand will fall on top of it if it ever falls. This is what might happen if you're talking about the peg on the bottom of the cup. (it's kinda like chopping a tree in the middle, the part you last touched with your axe is not going to hit the ground first.) Also the stand and the cup piece is not the one falling here, it did not fall. Also the piece in question is a Rubber flexi piece. I bet you can drop that from 10 floors and it will not break. I'm not saying your example is not posisble but the chances of that ever happening which would cause the Cup piece to crack with just the toy falling is very very slim. There's only 1 time that a toy of mine was ever damage due to a fall and that happen in a EARTHQUAKE (my only Gakken Transformable green Alpha). Seeing this just brought all those bad memories back. I'm not good with seeing my toys falling to their death on their own. Now that I think about it, there was also a light earthquake just awhile ago too. Who knows maybe there was no fault in the stand at all and at night my Yamato Macross Figures just happen to beat the daylights out of the little 1/100 toynami and once they were finish they took out the stand too. Anyways, I'm still playing with this little figure just without the stand so it was still a good purchase, I'm just pissed at the falling and breaking part.
3. Mine's was secure. The instructions were clear. It's rubber and it split. I am getting a replacement part from Toynami so it does not bother me anymore. Other than that it is a nice figure. I have 8 more on the way. I just like figures this size. I have 27 Banprestos, so handling small figures is something I am used to. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Now if only I know what series three was going to be. 425675 I try contacting Toynami too, but they didn't respond to my email yet. Which email did you use?
4. hmm, lets me see.. there's a ball and a cup. Ball goes into the cup. If it's was not attached correctly the toy will fall off instantly. Can you even give me a logical example of what you mean by damaging the stand by attaching the toy to the stand insecurely?
5. well, I wish you luck then. Try not to post the figther mode in any somewhat extreme tilting of left or right for over 2 to 3 hours. or even like how it was shown on the flip cover of the BOX, because it will tilt more and more over time automatically, until it can tilt no more, then hours later CRACK. I do like the 1/100 Toynami. I think it's a great little toy and at $20 it's a pretty fair price to pay. The QC on the toy itself is good this time. I even prefer this more than their MPC line. But what they screw up on, at least for me and 2 other people is the Stand. Sure , some of you may think it's just a stand and it's not really important. But did you stop and think what goes onto the stand? it's the 1/100 valkyrie. And what would happen if the stand breaks? Your 1/100 valkyire will DROP and FALL to the ground or table. This might or might not damage the toy. I bet no one enjoy seeing that. I don't care if it's free but if it comes with the figure then it should be able to handle the weight. I never had a included stand from any of my toy figures break on their own. It's like a stock jack to lift up your car when you have a flat.
6. I think it's weird when I hear about this. I've had my 1/100 for like a week, it's been displayed in various modes and poses, and it's never fallen off. Once again, use some gorilla glue, and then file/dremel off the excess dried glue. 424799 Once the Gorilla Glue drys would it be flexiable?? since the borken part is a flexiable piece.
7. The main cause of the cracking or breaking is due to the design or the material used/ cheapers weaker materials Most people would assume that pretty much all of the weight of the Valkyrie would be focus on the the tiny rubbery ball socket cup piece thingie which connects everything to the stand. A very important piece. So it should be designed to be somewhat strong. What they should've done: Make the Ball socket cup piece stronger and thicker so it can deal with the weight of the Valkyrie sitting on one side of the cup and not just the dead center. If for some strange reason they can't do that, then they should add a renforcement piece around the socket cup thingie. Similar to placing a square box around the circular bowl. But they did not do either one of these So in the end we got a WEAK socket cup that can not deal with the weight of a Valkyrie sitting on just one side of the cup for a extented period of time. for me it was only 2 hours. I did not bother with fixing the piece yet, but I thought of ways to do it. You can get a tiny rubber holes and just cut a ring from it so you can squeese the socket cup in. This will reenforce the cup so it can deal with more weight. You can also use other material too, like cuting up a cheap ball point pen, using the eraser holder top from your old useless lead pencil. Anything should work just as long as it can go around the cup piece with a good tight fit.
8. Ok, Toynami Stands FREAKEN SUCKS. I placed my Valkyrie in figther mode on the stupid stand before I went to sleep. This morning I found my Valkyrie Belly UPPED. I check the valk and it's A O K. , I then place my valk back on the stand and notice the Ball joint SOCKET part is cracked.
9. Thanks for the quick review, those Pics really helped me out on deciding should I get one or not. I was expecting them to be the same size as the Banpresto, but to see that they are actually bigger I was pretty surprise. I love my Banprestos so I should have no problem with getting these. The only thing I dislike from those pics are the HUGE Shoulders,, if only they are smaller it would make the whole valk look much better. By the way , I just order a set from VE. $49 for a set of 3 sounds pretty good. Oh, do you know if the head is switchable? so I can use the VF-1S head on the Hikaru VF1a.? YEah,, my cheap way of getting a Hikaru VF-1s.
10. Since these are out, can any of you do a nice review of the item with close up pics and stuff?? I'm thinking of getting one, but it's kinda strange that there's no review with pic on them yet.
11. Where can I get this agent? 416307 you can get "Future floor finish" at walgreens, ace hardware stores, probably target, walmart, home depot, etc.
12. Depending on where you live it might work differenly, but here in San Franciso there's a little money saving step. -Go to where ever you need to go to , to paid for that Speeding ticket -Do not paid the ticket -Say you want to request a Hearing and then set a date ( it should be free) (you can also request a translator to meet you at the setted date, which make it easier since you just have to talk to the translator) -Go there and say yeah my bad, I would like to go to traffic school. -(This is where you are saving $$$)They will then only charge you around $75 instead of your Full ticket ammount because you request for a hearing. Now you will still have to paid all the other fee that your originally have to pay anyways, but you ticket price went down. -Now you have to sign up and go to traffic school, the fee depends on schools, but you will need to do this or else your insurance premium will increase due to loseing a point. This also works for STOP signs, Red lights, and other moving violations. Hope this works for you. By the way, My record is clean and I'm a good driver with all points.
13. wow, the custom paint job looks great, the Metallic blue blends pretty well with the rest of the color, another complete Gunpla
14. YEah, I want to know too, that's why I'm kept watching news on the F91 but from all the pics I see , non of them shown anything special. Perhaps they made something similar to the Revotech joints.
15. here's some more pics of the Mastergrade F91

Advice!

It all depends on how much you have to spend or how many valk you are currently planing to get. If you want something on the low cost side then the VF-1a cannon fodder is your best bet. but if you're into what's new then it will cost you more. Stealth and LV2 are the 2 newest VF-1a while there's also a 1/60 VF-0s.
17. Here a new pic of the Master Grade F91. This one gives you a better view of their internal frame.
18. Finally,, but the timming is kinda mess up.. Way too many releases in such a short time. I'm only complainting because I know I'm going to buy them if I havn't already pre-ordered or gotten them. 1/60 YF-19 ~$150 me Wallet %$#@! Well I guess this will be a nice time to get good deals on YF-19. I wonder would the VF-19a increse in price now.

20. I was kinda hoping for some Zero G love Chase. With curtains and everything
21. Just curious, are you kidding or are you serious? Sometimes it's really hard to detect sarcasm on these boards. The way the legs rotate in the middle is pretty weak and if you have fastpacks you can't get that outward angle at all. Pretty lame in my book. This picture is courtesy of www.anymoon.com and it's review of the original 1/60 releases. 407101 The Gerwalk of the 1/60 doesn't look that bad, your example pic just happen to be taken at bad angle. Here is a better pic, it look pretty good to me.
22. Yeah,, they were using that pic for a long while now.. but sure enough if you order you'll be getting what's stated in the title. PG RX-78-2. If only they have some more of those $20 PG Wings and $30 Zaku IIs.
