    To answer some questions:

→The new animated content on the disc clocks in at approx. 15mins.
→The event on the 14th is a live audience broadcast of Macross Won’t Stop as well as (I think) a screening of a bit of the bluray.
→The greater amount of content on the disc is not really similar to the 20th Ann. disc and is more like a 3hr long episode of Macross Won’t Stop.

    Thanks much....

Still on the fence about ordering though ^_^

The Yamato is about $110 shipped for 4 kits a month (buying 2 at a time).  Total cost over 110 weeks (2 years and 6 weeks): $3000

So about $1300 a year.  Mind you, 1/3 of what you're paying for is shipping.  Mine is about 1/3 built, and its VERY impressive thus far.

Check out this test someone did thus far:

You must be shipping via EMS?
I'm shipping via SAL and my calculations show total cost for the Yamato at $2172.5 / 4 issues shipped per month to LA, Calif
Just hope nothing gets lost using SAL, so far I have been lucky ^_^

Part broke while transforming my 1J. It's an easy enough fix, but considering it's a part that doesn't move at all, it shouldn't break so easily.

    Very shoddy, Bandai.

So sorry about that, this did wonders for my Yamato 1/48 and Proto Garland when the plastic started having stress fails.

Oh, that sucks. I've been using Tamiya Extra thin cement. It's worked very well thus far. I will probably work to put paper between panels to help reduce light bleed this weekend.

Thankfully 1000 grit sandpaper and polishing with toothpaste saved the day ^_^

For the light bleed I purchased some black 3M masking tape, hopefully heat won't affect it over time.

Grrr.... way to rub it in and kick us when we're down, why don't you... ?  ;)

    Congrats, guys!

    No sarcasm intended....

I feel bad for all the peep's that helped me secure one that during delivery day got pre-orders cancelled.
    Totally Sucks!

HLJ Managed to get my VF-1S order out. I ordered the other night when it was released, not months ago. It made it to my Private warehouse and now it's in FedEx's hands. I consider myself extremely lucky.

You and I by the grace of God.

Sorry to hear about others getting pre-orders cancelled.

Does it normally take time for an item to become available or is that a bad sign? Luckily for me I was able to request shipping on mine.

Mine is showing as not shippable also, am I the odd man out?

I managed to get my HLJ order in pretty early before this site reported it.  I got a pretty low order number I think and its not showing up in my orders... am I screwed?

Site is having issues, did you get a confirmation email?

HLJ will ban you for ordering multiple for items with 1 limit per household

Sounds like an Oracle database issue, that is ridiculous.
I'm sure that can be argued successfully with a customer service email, however not when it in in a cart and time is of the essence.

Lots of E-commerce info in this thread ^_^

Crap. I think I ordered two by mistake since I never got confirmation for first one.  But now I just got both confirmation emails.  I hope I can cancel or unload the extra one.  :D

    First world problems ~_^
