    I got my Banshee in to go with my Unicorn, have yet to open it though due to space restrictions. I already have way too many toys on my "over spill table". Looks like I will be investing in larger cases sooner than later.

    Hrmmm, I have a BNIB 1/48 Max chronicle exclusive TV color valk that may be intrested in cloths. I need to think this over as I already have the 1/60 clothing set. What are the deadlines on this?

    With your skills, all it would take is adding maybe a bit of panel lining/weathering in the lines to make it possibly look better. When I see the CG model it looks like there is always a shadow and some line detail. The color does match the hip parts, I saw a post somewhere ages ago showing how weird it would look if it was color matched to the valk. I do agree though that maybe Bandai could have did a better job of detailing the part up. Which Customs office did it hit? I notice when I have stuff go through the east coast , especially NY it crawls to a halt for a while and it is holiday season. All my stuff usually hits San Francisco and takes a day at the most, but most of the time just hours.

    Got mine in today from HLJ. I think I am going to put this one in the closet for storage. I already have the whole DYRL cast from Yamato on display and don't really have the room for anything atm. The box would have been OK If they left off the goofy pose they have Roy in. I also think they should have omitted the pictures of the toy on the side of the box. The rear looks good to me and I love the flap on the front with the window so I can look at the damn thing without opening the box. You know looking at the back of the box, I think that battroid pose looks better than the one they have on the front.

    There is no way I "replace" my Yamato DYRL valks, but I will be buying the new ones. I still like the off white of the Yammies and the rainbow canopy.

    Hey funky all of the webshop exclusives have the brown shipper box. I am glad Bandai does that as it keeps the real box in good shape during transport.

    I never liked the 1/48 Angel Bird, but for some reason I really liked the 1/60 V2 of it. Glad I got it too lol.

    It cost me ¥4,430 to ship both the Roy and GFFMC Banshee together from HLJ and that was Fedex.

    Don't remind me.... I wanted to pull the trigger on that splinter camo SV-51, but I let it slide and someone else bought it Edit: My bad that was the Dobber custom I was referring to would love to see a scheme like the one he pulled off on that custom SV-51.

    Yeah I thought I would not like it that much, but I love it. It may not be a cannon scheme but it's a great addition to my collection.

    Starting to wonder if I should just ship this with my GFFMC Banshee that I have in my private warehouse, I kinda wanted to wait for a few more items but I am getting antsy lol.

    I would keep it. Once I get my displays set up how I want them I may use it as the bridge between the Yamato collection I have and the Arcadia collection I will have as long as they stay a float. I love me some blue and white schemes myself.

    LOL, that is not a customized valk, those pics are from when I first opened up my YF-29 30th anniversary variant. I am not a customizer by any means, but thanks for the compliment That is the part I tried to use, the extended one that came with the super parts. The C clips just wont seat in, it's like I will have to take off the intake armor to get it in..

    It's ok man, I would not take any offense to his statement. At least you posted pics, I have had mine sitting around since I got them and still did not post any pics. BTW all my pics were taken using an iPhone 4S and I also use photobucket cause it's freaking easy lol. I tend to use the camera+ app for stability shots and sometimes I use the default camera app with HDR settings enabled. This is one of my and other peoples favs for a phone pic using camera+: Back on topic: Anyone else having trouble getting the RVF on the fighter mode stand that is included? I cannot for the life of me get the C clips to get in the spot they need to be in. It appears that the intake armor is hindering that. I will give it another try later.

    Me either LOL! I really liked the box art a lot and it was Arcadia first release so I threw them a bone to help them off on their maiden voyage. All of the anniversary valks from Yamato in the past were pretty bad too imo. I did not like the YF-19 or the 1/48 VF-1. I also saw on Anymoon.com? what they had planned initially as Yamato's 25th anniversary schemes, the black and gold put those to shame lol. It is what it is....

    Damn, thanks for the heads up, I again saved more money on pre-orders that I had in que. HLJ is saving me a bunch of money this black friday. Now if only the destiny would come up again lol. I got one but could not get them to apply it to already placed pre-orders.

    Fedex showed up at 8:30 this morning with my RVF supers I might dig in to them today if I get a chance. By "Plastic Models" I hope they don't mean cocaine or something like that lol. I have never had them question anything I bought from Japan. I did ship a care package to a friend in Tokyo once, and they ripped it all open and left a note inside for him letting him know they inspected all the goods inside.

    CDJ is pretty bad about shipping prices, I had to get my 25 CF sent at one of the slowest speeds for it to be worth it lol.

    I wouldn't, as per Tober's e-mail response they specifically say: "You're welcome to cancel the order, using the My Account system (accessible by clicking "My Account" on the top right of pages on http://www.hlj.com), and then place a new order." HLJ does tend to cater to the west more than the other shops. I am not surprised that they are letting us cancel then re-order. On top of that I hate when shops try to get weird about cancelling as if they could never sale said item. I feel like people have the right to change their mind, the only time I disagree though is if it is a small business or if they state that you "cannot cancel" before you place the order. At that point you should really think about it before ordering it.

    It also turns out that they will not honor the price via e-mail on existing orders either. So I think the easiest course of action was what we all did. They really can't get upset, I saved on the 2x 19's and the 2x 1S's I have on order, it was too obvious. "Hi, Thank you for writing in.     I did the same thing, but skullmilitia is saying it can cause problems with HLJ. I will just shoot an e-mail next time I guess.

    Really, I never had a problem with HLJ. I mean it is all user controlled and requires no interaction with the sales/support staff. They also did not lose a sale at all because I re bought the same items. I did have to send a e-mail though on a metal build gundam I have on pre-order. I could not cancel that one as they had none in stock.

    LOL that would be so cruel, I want to finish out this OVA. I hate the cliff hanger then wait another year routine they have been doing with this, but at the same time I am happy because they are not forced to shortcut due to budgets.
