  1. Sorry, I don't really mean '3 dimensions' as in height, width and depth, etc. I was trying to describe the 'time and space' meaning of dimensions but I'm a bit stupid! I'm more inclined to go with Blue Max's direct translation of the Japanese as the 'official' meaning of Dimension/al in the title. The English 'Dimension' may/may not be a word play on size by the creators. Maybe thats one to ask the 'Head? Super Dreadnaught Fortress is a lot easier to understand. They should have just gone with that!
  2. Yeah, sorry. Didn't think mentioning War Games would get that much of a response. Maybe I'll start another thread? nah...
  3. Imacs? hell no! It should be Windows, so we can all identify with it. That's fine. iMacs can run WinXP (as well as RedHat, Yellow Dog, BSD, SuSe....etc. You just need to know how). Says so on Microsoft's Mactopia homepage. (and that's as far as I'm going in the PC/Mac debate. Stay on topic people.) whoops, I unintentionally started a Mac vs Windows debate. I think I was just trying to point out the improbability of being able to hack NORAD with a Commodore 64. Would this have actually been possible, back in the day? ...Weren't PS2s originally banned for export to North Korea and Iraq, Syria etc because of their processing power being sufficient to guide cruise missiles?

    Macross Arcade

Any one know of any more Macross Games besides this one for arcade? Australian MWers: Bid on this so I can come over to your house and play.
  6. I hope they remake War Games. The kid could have Imacs in his room now instead of Commodore 64s.
  7. I'm slowly getting through the original show. Mint's Birthday was the last episode I watched. That was pretty messed up. Riding the Japanese 'Lolicom' boom of the '80s no doubt... Its not easy watching the HK boots. They keep calling Stick, 'Sting'. Mint, 'Mitt' and Reflex Point, 'Ruff Rex's Point' (Sounds like a gay bar). The subs basically suck and detract from the show a lot for me. Isn't there an official US release now? might buy that.
  8. How embarrassing still, kinda funny how I made that mistake! I always thought I lived in a 'Super Dimension' Apartment Building because its like 10 stories!! Oh well I guess I just live in a normal apartment building now.
  9. I've always thought 'Super Dimensional Fortress Macross' referred to the size ie. dimensions of the Macross. Because, after all, Its a damn big ship and has 'Super Dimensions'. Boy do I feel stupid now because 'Jikuu' apparantly refers to dimension as in 'alternate dimension' or '3 dimensions' etc. Was anyone else under the same impression as I was or am I the only Macross idiot on this one?
  10. Well I think the teacher will confiscate the lighter and tell my parents I became a potential pyromaniac.. On the other hand if any R&B artist need some *bling *bling, they dont have to look far Yo check my lightan yall!! LOL. 'Street Lightan' Hey! Lightan would never lose his lighter because he...is a lighter...
  11. I've never seen Lightan but I'm trying to think of any advantages of being able to transform into a lighter? Maybe to spy on your enemies by taking on the form of an everyday object and being able to sit in a room unnoticed? Hmmm.. Anyone got any other ideas?
  12. American version of Ranma 1/2? Well, Ranma came out several years later in Japan, so I highly doubt it. Rumiko Takahashi probably ripped off her idea for Ranma 1/2 from Turbo Teen. Bitch. Turbo Teen is wierd but possibly not as wierd as Golden Warrior Gold Lightan that aired in Japan in 1982. In case you don't already know it was about a mighty robot that transformed into a...cigarette lighter. BTW That image from TT looks like a dude falling on to a car and then being zapped by the electrified security system.
  13. Doesn't he live in a trailor park these days? I heard he sold all his bling and gave the money to charity and now hes a youth worker or something?
  14. Oh, that's how they explained how she knew they were together? Cool, thanks for that.
  15. I have a simpler two step method. 1. Wait for it to appear on Yahoo Japan. 2. Bid 100,000 yen. (And it's logical, think about it.) Do you actually know how a credit card works? You can actually use it to buy things you were going to buy anyway with cash and then pay it back on the card possibly with a small interest charge for the convenience. Its not like you have to pay the credit card company Y100 000 to enter the competition like you seem to think you do.
  16. You're really into your ninja/undercover/black ops stuff aren't you? Ever thought of applying to join CIA or are you already an agent?
  17. Macross Forever: In case you haven't already seen it CMS Minmay Doll is here, courtesy of Hurin: CMS Minmay
  18. Is that what Hurin is displaying on his 'Hikaru shelf?'
  19. Skull00

    Hikaru's Bookshelf?

Yeah, I imagine something like that. Didn't Hikaru have a model valkyrie on his desk after SWI? Very nice display, Hurin. Who makes the Minmay doll? Nice touch having the toy like in the show, instead of a life like model. Makes it seem like it could actually be Hikaru's shelf of memorobillia.
  20. If I were you I'd keep both just for the beautiful cover art and to be a completist. (Throw away your SM discs, they don't count .)
  21. Uh....okay.... just coz this guy aint a macross/anime/southern cross geek like you doesn't mean you have to be an a-hole.
  22. I got my girlfriend to apply for that credit card...all we got was the sticker. so are you gonna rack up the juu-man and enter the draw? If you win you will be an MW national hero...
  23. so they won't even be in the hands of the public untill next Christmas?? That sucks, I want to see how much they go for on Ebay or Yahoo.co.jp? Talk about hard to get though...
  24. Yeah, its what Japanese companys call 'purezento' or present. A limited number of super premium and usually pretty nice items will be raffled off to customers. Typical examples include the Boss can coffee leather down jacket limited to like 100 pieces.
  25. And more shows like Kaptain Kool & the Kongs, and Rambo, the animated series: Rambo
