    Disney movies and other Disney media don't need to be great....just good enough...it's only about 15% of their revenue last I checked... What it does is keep Disney in the public eye, it's the customers paying to experience their parks what matters most...they have no reason to raise the bar on their film and media quality....the hard core fan base will still support them... I wanted to go see Lightyear on the big screen, but I think I'll just wait for D+....if the movie is really a flop they will probably get it onto D+ sooner rather than later....

    Can't trust anything the Emperor says or does....all that matters is his endgame....he sort of did the same switch in plan at the end of TROS....he began with wanting to transplant his life force, or whatever they were calling it, into Rey....but then the Dyad became a thing.... Let's face it....until we get something truly new (post Skywalker Saga)....we are just marching towards the Sequel Trilogy....so nothing is of any consequence...it's just cool Star Wars imagery....mixed in with lots of garbage writing with a few great moments...

    Remember...it's all about the long game for Palpatine....not just the next movie or TV show.... Ultimately....Palpatine uses Vader to lure Luke in during ROTJ...Palpatine never considered Luke or his ability to turn Vader against him a threat...but making him his next Sithlord was worth the trouble, afterall, Anakin was washed up and in need of replacement....in the grand scheme....Palpatine just needed his apprentices to do his dirty work of keeping his enemies at bay while he worked on perfecting his plan for immortality.... Keeping Vader focused on the one Jedi that he obviously could never beat (or at least by the end of OWK could never beat) was pointless and he wanted Vader to deal with other things instead....like probably the destruction of the "insignificant" rebellion, etc... Don't forget....good or bad...all these tv series ultimately just lead up to the Sequel Trilogy....where all that is a part of the Skywalker Saga leads to Palpatine's endgame....well, at least as far as we know....at this point we can't say he won't return a third time!

    The final scene with Vader, at least to me, sounded like he was more or less ordered to let him go by Palpatine.

    Have pic?....not sure if it was made like that or if the shop owner may have glued it to the foam board....I have a similar style macross " foam board" poster but have no idea if it was manufactured like this or modified by someone after receiving a regular poster

    Just finished the last OWK episode....it was better than the previous episodes, but too little too late... It's like Anakin/Vader wanted to recreate the scene of his initial defeat to Obi Wan...a one on one fight.....at the risk of repeated failure....at the end....did that final scene with Vader on Mustafar indicate that he was OK with giving up on his quest to defeat his "former" master or pursuing him any further? The lore between OWK and Anakin/Vader was better when the idea was that Vader may or may not have been searching for OWK for years until they finally met up in ANH.

    Didn't Disney hire the guy who did the "deepfake" of Luke in that episode of The Mandalorian where he comes for Grogu? Maybe they forced him to use in-house Disney software that isn't as good...lol

    Not only that...but it was Qui Gon that contacted Yoda in the first place, so it could be that Force Ghost can appear at will to whoever they need to...so that just makes Obi Wan's predicament worse....pretty sure the whole Qui Gon back from the dead thing started at the end of the Clone Wars series...and culminated with Yoda telling Obi Wan that he would teach him how to commune with Qui Gon while in hiding....so wth happened?

    They should just reveal at the end that Vader knew all along about Luke and Leia because at this point...why not? They can then do a soft retcon by disclosing that Vader was holding this info as his ace card for usurping the Emperor, when the time was right to turn them both to the dark side....would explain why he didn't interfere with their upbringing or went back to check on them....so no child support or parental duties...lol....also would tie in with his comments to Luke during their ESB duel about destroying the Emperor and ruling the galaxy as father and son.....it's all about the long game!

    That's the other thing I don't get....Qui Gon has never communicated with Obi Wan or stopped doing so? Also, regarding Leia's pet robot....the writers must have just copied the "red" eyes shtick from TROS....because apparently their audience is too dumb to figure out that robots can't be bad if their optics aren't red? OK....I'll ask this too....why was that access panel only small enough for Leia? Was that hangar built by Ugnauts?.....guess that's good job security for when things break down and only certain sized species can fix things....lol.....or elementary aged mechanical maintenance pros!
