No, it's an actual puzzle.....not a Macross puzzle or a stand.... It was just an observation on how similar it looks to the SMS logo..... The post honestly should have been posted in the following thread....

Yeah, they are pretty cool...would be a neat way to hold all your HMR "bits" too! Macross Metal Bento Box....rectangle variant...not sure how many actual variants there are...I think I have seen a few others over the years...

I like the metallic look they went with...however, they should have also applied it to all areas that currently seem to have flat red paint... BTW, did they ship your missing parts, etc. with this order? -
I want to say the guy doing the upscaled 1/55 was from Mexico....those old post are long gone...maybe I can check on Wayback Machine's internet archives for the post

I recall a long time ago, on a MW thread long forgotten....someone had started to work on one...guessing the project went nowhere...I think there were actually two guys taking a stab at it...one was doing it in wood and another using metal

Same... "Retro" boxes would be nice...I think the old Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 stuff would actually benefit more by fitting them into some retro-styled boxes....surprised no one has ever tried it...wonder how much it would cost to commission such a project?

Been wanting a mega-sized original style 1/55 VF-1 PT for decades...had a little hope when the wave of super-sized Transformers started being released by 3P companies...but it never materialized...it seems original Macross 3P creations started and ended with the SD Makurosu....although the 3D print entrepreneurs are very active...but I have no time to build and paint....unfortunately

Thanks! Makes sense now why I never saw one like it near me.... I really like that "Strike Hikaru" paint app......it's a shame Bandai did not release the rest of the variants....I'm guessing you probably painted some 1/100 with Kakizaki and Max colors.... Don't think I have ever seen one for sale on auction or elsewhere....would like to get my hands on one if it ever does...although I'm thinking all you would need is a donor Bandai DYRL VF-1A and a donor VF-1S head to make one...lol
