Very "bird-of-prey."

So due to some effed up issues with work I currently live in a city other than where my Macross toys reside. I can't take them with me because I simply don't have the room. Every weekend when I go home I look at this 11C and the only thing I can think is, "I need at least three more of these!" That's not healthy.

That explains why I don't know anything about it, I didn't get into any of this stuff until the end of 2008.

Which line is that Ravens toy from? I love the color.

I was never planning on trying to get every scale Valk they make but between how good this looks and the awesome Toynami Regult I may wind up with at least a few 1/100 scale items now.

Those extra flourishes, like the small red stickers on the wings make a pretty big difference in how it looks.

Exactly. Every other show with transformations goes from vehicle to robot. The hybrid mode in Macross is what really differentiates it. I guess I'll have to get better at photography so I can post up some VF-11C pics in Gerwalk for the minority of us who like that.

Look at all of the pics and... no Gerwalk. I must be only person on the planet who likes that mode.

That's a good review. I noticed the gun pod veers left when attached in Fighter mode, mine does that as well. Does anybody else have the problem? One thing I did notice about the articulation, because it doesn't have that extra play in the elbow like the VF-1's the arm pose-ability in Gerwalk isn't quite as good as I'd like. Even still, I haven't transformed mine into Battroid yet as I love the way it looks in Gerwalk.

Wow man, that really sucks. I just ordered four things from Overdrive Sunday and according to the phone call I just got they've just arrived at my house. Sounds like that's an exception these days. Let us know how it all turns out, it really isn't fair for Overdrive to keep your money hostage like that.

I guess a lot of people are having issues with Over-Drive right now. Luckily that hasn't been my case yet. I've ordered: Max VF-1J Milia VF-1J VE-1 and a VF-11C on Sunday night. It's passed customs and I'm waiting for them to finally make it to my house in Albuquerque (hopefully today or tomorrow.) Amiami has better prices and fast shipping but their selection is more limited and their stock disappears real fast.

I didn't know those special smoke effects were going to be included for the Super/strike parts as well.

I had that underwing nub snap off on my very first 1/60 VF-1J Hikaru purchase. I used some Scorpion Industries RP 1500 Adhesive and that sucker has stayed on for good since then. I even tried attached the same missile pod and yanked it off again, that glue holds tight.

That's cool, what does it look like in the other modes? I like the swirl around the gun barrel, it would look cool in fighter mounted below.

My GBP finally showed up today. There is no yellowing as far as I can tell and the whiteness of the head seems to match the rest of the valk. The shoulders are intact. They have the gnarled pins but after transformation and armor application the shoulder's are still in good working order. It has the old crotch system. This was always intended to be in-armor only so hopefully now that it's up on my shelf there shouldn't be any problems with it. Pretty beefy thing as well.

That's not totally fair, until recently these problems were fixed. Now they're stuffing old broken poo in "new" packages and pretending that's okay after seemingly fixing a lot of stuff. Hell, the uncolored VF-1's don't even have the fixed crotch system either, what kind of BS is Yamato pulling? It's a total crap shoot now. Not a way to build confidence.

What the hell happened to Yamato? By September it seemed like all of the problems were gone. Then by November they decided to go back to the way it was. Now I'm dreading getting my GBP.

Does anybody know what the turn around time from Over-Drive is if you've pre-ordered something there? I've had one of these waiting since September and am getting anxious to know when I'll be receiving mine (considering I paid for it four months ago.)

I want replacement cockpits for my older VF-1's with the new crotch system so they're not so floppy in battroid mode.

Oh God, I need a job now!

I've never been a huge fan of the 22 in general but that fighter mode in Max's blue color is sexy.
