  1. OMG I laughed my ass off , thanks Mog , thanks Deadeye for the low viz love ditto on the FP's.
  2. Amazing Rook ultraman zoffy!!!! That first pic reminds me of a young Kim Basinger..yummy.
  3. Lol.. I was thinking of Prince lyrics. Hate to come across demanding , but is anyone willing to thro up an AB pic....it was my biggest regret not getting that beauty!!! Either way love your creative poses everyone!!!
  4. I think you are 110% correct sir! ...I LOVED the first movie, it was like a 101 ways to go out of your way to kill someone.
  5. Lol.. I forgot to mention that in armor mode, with the arm gauntlet's peg holes you can leave the peg OUT of the hole closest to the elbow joint which will allow the forearm to almost have a full ROM towards the bicep ...you'll come up with some cool poses with the upper body in armor mode ...I can't wait to go back to Australia and get my hands on my Beagles again!
  6. I've never owned a Hik 1J in 1/60....I hope that's next?
  7. What's in the water you guys have been drinkin'? The last 2 pages have been Macross Picasso's.!!! Cool photoshops, camera's, lighting, posing,weathering,stickers...it has something for everyone!!!! Hey treatment, I've been meaning to ask you, do you slightly raise the chest plate on the vf-1's to hide the priest collars? .....because they look menacing like a 1/48.
  8. Woops!! You guys are right, it,s 2am here in China....my bad, I was was looking at macrossmechamanual and was charmed by Mac2. ..........a remold of YF-21 proto No.1 perhaps?
  9. It's a shame it's not a VF-2SS. What about a VA-1SS Metal Siren? OR VF-2JA Icarus? .......or a remold of the YF-21 ( starting with a Prototype #1.. that beige/brown/yellow reminds me of the brown hornet from Fat Albert)
  10. If storage space or funds aren't an issue, I'd say hang on to your MP Rand at least until the 35th anniversary. A little bit of patience and hair width adjustments to the hips/knees/ankles can come up with some really dynamic poses without the stand. For example start with a really wide "A stance" pose bent at the knees ( or what I like to call a "horse riding" stance without the horse) And with minor rotations/adjustments of the hips/knees/ankles. Once you come across a pose you like...thats when the patience come in ..again it'll be minor adjustments. Eventually you'll find the figure's center balance, then press gently down on his head to "lock" the joints in place. I like to let it rest up against a wall standing in that pose for a few hrs/day , I find that after that the figure becomes stiff in that pose. The figure retains a "memory" so to speak of that pose...and then it's glamour shots for this thread. (Wow I really am a nerd)
  11. it,s all good Mechapilot77 , I agree with you , it is an issue regardless how big or small....I,m pretty sure Arcadia have employees on the factory floor overseeing production, signing off etc...as in similar industries, it is Arcadia,s name on the box,and I do hold them responsible ...but like I said in my post, QC issues will be in every release....because we,re all human, the way I see it is if you recieve a dud you have 2 choices 1.shrugg it off 2. Fight it to the bitter end......all depending how bad the QC issue is.that,s what I mean,t when I said "f$!k you Chinese factory" ...lol, sorry for my colorful language.Merry Xmas mate!!
  12. Cool pose!! Like the reflection off the green visor in the first pic....sexy accident !!!
  13. Yamato/Arcadia are good toy engineers , they listen (for the most part..I'm talking to you..you BIG f*#kin' box)) to the fans. Since the 1/48 we've gotten options parts/stand and mold improvements.......It's obvious that Arcadia care/ are fans of Macross. .........But it can all come undone at the rented Chinese factory, with minimum wage earners. *put together TOO tight= stresses joints/plastic ..things break. *Factory marks, glue stains *parts applied backwards. *wrong/missing/flaking paint apps. ......Arcadia try their best to reduce these QC issues..but they will be in every release...unless Arcadia stop manufacturing in China, which won't happen, unless they source it to India, which would be a step down in QC. ...So the few times I've received a train wreck I scream to the heavens..."F*#k you Chinese factory"...rather than "F*#k you Arcadia".
  14. Hell yeah!!! Dig the fig with binoculars!!
  15. LOL.. Yeah I've had my trigger finger hovering over that option for awhile now!!! But option parts + stand and new Arcadia "White" are making me hold off.
  16. DYRL VF-1A Mass prod....OR an Angel Bird. PLEASE.
  17. That's 3 VF-1's in a few wks!!! That's a high turn over ...come on February tell me what VF-1 we've got for 2014.
  18. LOL.. thanx skullmilitia. I haven't owned a yammie OR Arcadia yet with option parts, but I've heard that the side covers can come off easy. BTW. typev3 transcendent snaps, moreyesplease!!!
  19. Thanx for posting pics skullmilitia!!! What are the attached side covers like, tight?
  20. I guess we know the meaning of "multiple" movies now... With both X-men franchise under Fox, and DC/Warner MOS expanding,Sony want to do the same with AMS. Recent Sony quotes.. "We are going to access Marvels full world of Spider-man characters,so be on the lookout for new heroes and villains." 'We do very much have the ambition about creating a bigger universe around Spider-man. There are a number of scripts in the works" "Working closely with Marvel" .....Spider-girl movie?
  21. Thanks fellas February it is!! No DYRL Max?? .....Eitherway looking forward to incoming MW glamour shots!!
  22. Anyone have an idea what VF-1 is next after Hik? Max DYRL VF-1S?
