1. I care a great deal for this community. I refuse to do business with someone who disrespected other MW members (and a moderator) that were only trying to help you with your customization questions. Doing so would validate your poor behavior. Mods, please close this topic. I will create a new one when the Stealth and VF-0S sets are ready for production.
2. Request for sets like that are covered by a custom order. If all you need are recolored/resized kites, it will be pretty cheap. $5 per quarter sheet of decal paper. If you can provide the number and size of kites you need, I can give you a total. It never hurts to know exactly which colors should be used for LV markings, so any information you can provide would be welcome. I based the Stealth set on the colors of the valk itself and tried to find a shade of grey that would work well.
3. Like I said, I'm a complete novice when it comes to anything other than Macross. I believe Legioss is what I have been asked for on more than a few occasions, so Gakken it is. I guess that it doesn't really matter, though, since the toy is identical. What I won't be able to do is reproduce the factory-applied stickers unless I have one of the toys with the stickers applied to work with (or really, really good close-up photos of them with a scale included). I did receive the Cyclone scan, but I was wondering if it would be possible to get that one (and the Legioss sets) scanned in at a resolution higher than 72dpi. Perhaps 300dpi? When I zoomed in on the scans to start the repro work I couldn't make out enough detail on the stickers with lettering to be able to recreate them.... 399704 Hey Devin, Legioss is Mospeada, Alpha is Robotech. They\'re one in the same with a different name. The sets you have planned are for the 1/35 Gakken versions? BTW-did you recieve the Cyclone decals? (crosses fingers) 399710
4. I can add those pretty quickly. I'll make them grey, too.
5. Legioss. I have an MPC Alpha and might make stickers/decals for those, too. I think Takatoys already made a sticker set for it, though....
6. Here's a sample of what the Stealth designs are going to look like. I still might tweak them a little bit, but all markings are either grey or black and should show up well on the dark surfaces of the valk and armor. The valk set will be $10, as will the Armor set. $20 for both. I am NOT taking orders right now. I need a little break from production and I want to create the VF-0S set before I take new orders. I will post here and in the For Sale forum when the sets are ready to purchase.
7. Darn tampo printing.... Looks like I'll have to include a LV kite symbol for the wing that can be placed on top of the current one.... I'll get started on adapting the Low Vis sheets I already created for the valk and FAST Packs....
8. Really!? That's terrible! Guess I'll have to create something from scratch that will match the valk's color scheme. All the same, I'd like to see a good scan of the sheets just to be sure.
9. So my fiancee is cracking down on my Macross purchasing (we're saving for a house), so I'm not sure that I'll be able to buy the new Stealth, LV2, or VF-0S valks. This means that I won't have the sticker sheets from those valks to use when creating decals and repro stickers. I have also had vintage Alpha and Cyclone repro stickers on my to-do list for a very long time and would like to start work on them. What I need are either original sticker sheets or really good scans of the sheets to work with in order to make the sets. I am willing to offer free stickers and/or decals from my extensive catalog in return. Custom design work is a possibility as well. Original sheets sent to me will be scanned and returned to you right away. PM me if you can help with any of the following sheets: - Stealth Valk and Stealth FAST Pack - No longer needed - VF-0S - No longer needed - Low Vis v2 (has this been released yet?) - Low Vis v2 GBP (again, released yet?) - Alpha (Red, Green, and Blue) - Cyclone I'm a neophyte when it comes to Legioss and Mospeada, so I am not sure how many scales and manufacturers of Alphas and Cyclones exist. I'd like to make stickers and decals for the scale and manufacturer of each that is the most common (for which repro stickers/decals are most in need).
10. I have a 1/55 placement guide in PDF format on my website. Here's a direct link to the file: 1/55 Application Guide
11. Wow. I just saw this topic (haven't been on MW much in the past few weeks). It makes me happy to know that my work is useful and appreciated. A lot of labor and TLC goes into each set that I make. I actually make very little on each set I sell--it's more about connecting with fellow Macross fans and helping them out. I'm glad to hear that the custom markings worked out so well for you, Jason. That blue valk is awesome! For those who are wondering, I will be creating stealth and LV2 sets in the near future. Updates will be posted in the toys forum.
12. Purchase instructions can be found here: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=18090 If you need to see a particular area of a sheet close-up, let me know.
13. If you're referring to the Atmospheric Booster, then yes, I have created a set for that kit. I did it as part of a commission for the boosters that are being sold on Starshipmodeler.com. I still have the designs if you need a set. Nor has he done the 1/72 VF-1 Valkyrie booster...hint hint hint. 392198
14. Full paint strip and full repaint with a good primer if you want to do it right. I've made enough of these to know, but it's a lot of work. You'll want a consistent white or slightly off-white background upon which to put the large format decals. This is most effectively achieved through a good paint job. That is, unless you're a Jedi Master at paint stripping.... Even then, the stock Yamato white can be a little too harsh for the decals, giving the valk a less than "realistic" feel.

Polyscale is pretty weak stuff. Try Microscale Micro Set and Micro Sol in tandem. Much more effective. And sorry about the white on white issue. Blame my paper supplier.
16. Holy cow, what a response!!! I am seriously overwhelmed by the number of orders I have received. It's going to take me several weeks to fill all of them. I'm a one man operation, so please be patient.
17. I finally managed to post the For Sale thread: Custom Waterslide Decals and Stickers for Sale I also added up what it would cost to print entire sets of Leg Art. It comes to $45 for those who are interested.
18. Work has been INSANE this week. I will try to have the For Sale post up by tonight. Thank you for your continued patience.
19. If someone can post a good pic of that "Heavy Metal" Leg Art, I'll add it to the list of available designs.
20. I already have the "Valk" Minmay and "Sailor" Minmay designs integrated into my Minmay Guard sets, but I don't see why they couldn't be resized to fit the GBP. As for the first two, if you want those for your own GBPs, I'm sure we can work something out.
21. I can do that, but they would probably take up more than one sheet of decal paper and I am not sure about cost. I'll try putting them all together and see what the total damage would be.
22. Let's just say that my fiancee was not amused when she found me working on the Leg Art earlier this week. But hey, boobies seem to be an integral part of fighter decoration, so why buck the system?
23. I've been swamped. I'll be getting back to folks who have PM'd me this week later today.
24. ***When I am ready to take orders (in a day or two), I will post a thread in the For Sale forum. This is just a courtesy announcement.*** Why this particular set has taken so long for me to complete is a really long story. I'll provide the "short attention span theater" version here: 1) I started a new job in December--one which eats up A LOT of my free time. 2) Yamato was very mean and decided to print their stickers on film with white backing. This made scanning and extracting the designs extraordinarily difficult and time-consuming. Many, many thanks to Graham for providing a high quality scan of the sheet for me to work with. Lucky for me the company I now work for makes software used by various government agencies to analyze satellite imagery. I was able to use that to get the designs off the sheet--despite the white stickers-on-white-background problem (Photoshop sucks in this department). Who knew Homeland Security concerns could benefit Macross collectors! 3) I was almost done with the set a few weeks ago when we had a power outage and, unfortunately, I hadn't saved my work. I haven't made that mistake in many years and I'm still kicking myself over it.... Having to start over actually made the end product much better, so there's the silver lining, I guess. Anyway, onto the set: It takes up a full sheet of paper and is essentially a repro of the Yamato sheet. The designs, as always, can be printed on waterslide decal or sticker paper (buyer's choice). Besides the standard benefits my sticker and decal sets have over the Yamato originals, I am also including the option of "Leg Art" for those who are interested. Between the lovely ladies available in the old Macross Hobby Handbook and additional ones from Artmic Design Works that Graham provided, there are 48 different women to choose from (and one armored valkyrie symbol). These designs are meant to go on the inside of the right or left leg on your GBP armor. Additional thanks go to wm cheng for a scan of the leg armor so I could properly size everything. If you want the standard set pictured below as decals, and you don't want a Leg Art design, then you should purchase your set through TMP Anime. As always, they will handle the sale of my regular sets. If you want custom work done to your set, or want the sticker version, or want Leg Art to go with your set, I will handle the order myself. Each set is $20 and each Leg Art design is an additional $1. You can peruse the entire catalog of Leg Art here: GBP Leg Art Catalog Here are sample pics of the set and a few Leg Art designs:
