  1. Earlier this year there was a lottery for Tamashi-Nations club members and others.
You would register you'd want a Mechanic Edition and get put into a lottery, then names were announced and toys shipped 11/17 for this years show.

Now we are after-show and they put up another lottery type system which just closed
Those winners get announced next week

I'm not sure how other companies got this, as it says 1 per person everywhere I look
I picked up mine using a proxy buyer from Yahoo Japan auctions from a private seller.

We'll see a bunch of these getting listed in April 2024 so if you missed out on this one (prices too high) just wait a bit longer for more to hit the market

  2. Wow-this is a super rare build, thanks for sharing the pics!
This is the true "Macross Zero" for me. Moscato is king.

Look at all the wonderful detailing, excellent work!!

  3. Ok...so THAT explains why shipping 2 of these Konigs from HLJ was 113USD as the cheapest option..others were 140.

That box is gigantic. I feel better now or at least more understanding

  4. Wow-with the closeups we can see that Bandai used decals on this mockup instead of Tampo printing, which makes a lot of sense for a proto
I was wondering if they had a little hand printer or something they could just apply wherever they wanted...not the world is normal again :)

not backwards, they are on both sides of the standard mold for the super/strike forearm armor, also used to secure the gun pod (if you could call it secure).

edit, but as you pointed out the mold does appear to be new with the circle, could be backwards, but the notches are normally on both sides.

ah you are right, in my brain I was thinking the gunpod mounts were only on the inside....not sure where I got that idea

  6. Lets tone down the 'pisswaffles' type comments please, you can criticize in a less crude manner here.

I'm looking forward to seeing this in person! I like the details I've seen so far, and the different interpretation of the fast pack internals vs Yamato.
I think we have 4 unique versions now...Club-M which looks like the Gold Book Poster, the Yamato, which went with individual missiles, the Yamato/Arcadia 1/60 which changed the engines a little, but kept the individual missiles, and finally the DX, which returns to the missile tube version, but adds the little engine details (like the little spheres)
