Could you do a zoom in on this section? I've got both those special limited edition event kits, was wondering what sort of info they say about them
-
So for some variations, they molded all the hands in red, then painted them to match their color of the valk?
Why would they choose red and not a neutral white or gray...so many questions
-
And nice box find on the 1/100 'Strike' LOL
And 3 variants of that one, just crazyThe variant/ko search is the hunt that always seems to continue giving
-
ok hold on....hold on
GRAY HANDS version?
So another set of variants on top of the variants of the KOs?
wow...I would have assumed someone painted that(custom) and skipped over it, good work actually investigating it! -
Watched with Subs enabled and from my run, it seems like the decals with the bullet holes are coming with the vf-1d, which would be awesome.
They also said the VF-1D would have 23 'secret' changes from the VF-1J on display, so that us super interesting (if youtube translate is working)
thanks for the video link!!

I thought we all had to have
1 to open
1 to keep sealed
1 to resell later
😛

ok...its April...when is the 2nd batch of these things going to be released so the prices drop down to something NORMAL
I expect to wake up one morning and see 50+ of them competing on the 2nd hand market
-
What size is it? Anything to compare against?
-
Just got my order from the wise guys web store-was quick and cheap shipping this time...just $15 for 3x kits
-
That is one heck of a line up!
It is amazingly hard to find ALL of them at decent prices.
Do you have a picture of all your TRIPLICATES and greater? -
ok-getting familiar with the process, be patient
OK...so at the BOTTOM is a 'FOLLOW TOPIC' which
Make sure that is enabled
Then in your account profile, choose "Manage Followed Content"
Then choose your email preference, and the more detailed 'change how the notification is sent' (optional)
Ok...so that seems normal
Now I can post this, and see what happens
Will I get a notification on my own post?
Anyone else want to post a 'test' real quick here too? -
-
I know the PM emails work, but I think I may have default disabled the forum post ones, unless you chose to subscribe
I'll check tonight! -
Just saw this too.
-
Wow-another one I missed, nice find! I was too busy tracking down shoes lol

Hey Vic!
Nice-you guys have your own store and can bypass all the ebay fees, great work!!
I just did an order, the shipping was indeed MUCH better than ebay calculated.Shawn

A few weeks ago I was thinking, wouldn't it have been wild to have a DYRL Paint Your Own Cel series?
Saw these for sale on YJ today...I could make my own setMaybe we need a 'make your own never-released Macross product' imagination thread LOL
-
its been so long I can't quite remember the details on the individual sets-but found this

You've got the matching bowl and cup combo....insanely impressive!!!
I hadn't noticed from other pics of the cup by itself it was an exact match. -
Thanks for the update!
All our poor Yamatos being used for some crazy impressive customization projects, lol. Love these mags, with these really out-there cross universe variants.
Its like the Macross Hobby Handbook with toys instead of Imai and Arii kits.
Wonder if in 20 years there will be a line of DX custom with the same wild customization twists...but it will probably just be AI generated at that point. -
4-Type Imai with some pretty cool stop-motion animation! Jump to 1:30

The original Yamato designers took the Studio Half Eye YF-21 and upscaled it, making toy minded tweaks along the way.
https://macrossworld.com/macross/toys/_toys_she_vs_yamato.htm
You have to be in the mindset of the early 2000s...we had NOTHING for toys except for 1/55 reissues, and tons of expensive Resin kits.
Yamato was a blessing pumping fresh blood into Macross and re-ignited the fandom.
Don't be too terribly hard on the old designs, just look on them with eyes and a mindset 20 years in the past.
