I first read about it HERE ON MECH9 but I wanted to wait for another source.
A couple of days later MW member sketchley posted about it in the Movie and TV scoop thread here. he also provided the scan. It’s still not confirmed officially. Stay tune for more details on these possible “30th Anniversary” kits.

In November 2011, Dengeki Hobby Magazine announced that they will be doing a light serialization based on customized variations of different Macross mechs. Hasegawa will also produce model kits based on these customs that will be designed by Tenjin Hidetaka under the supervision of Shoji Kawamori himself. New characters will also be created for this new storyline.
All we know is that it’s going to be exclusive through their web shop. Everything else is speculation. Stay tune for more and watch the thread in the link below for more news.
